Creeslough 3 miles. This cosy single-storey cottage is situated close to the town of Creeslough in County Donegal. Overlooking the bay and the surrounding mountains, this lovely cottage is an ideal rural retreat for couples to relax and enjoy walking and cycling in the countryside. With a traditional feel, this cottage has a welcoming double bedroom with an en-suite shower . The open plan living area is very comfortable and well-equipped with a woodburner to keep you toasty throughout your holiday. Outside is a gravel area with a BBQ and seating area, along with off road parking for three cars. Three miles away is the town of Creeslough where you will find shops and pubs, and the superb Glenveagh National Park is within reach where you can take in the wonderful flora and fauna.
The village of Dunfanaghy is within reach and is a great place to visit, with it being situated on the Wild Atlantic Way and being surrounded by Blue Flag beaches. The bustling and popular cathedral town of Letterkenny is the largest town in the county offering a host of historical and recreational attractions, as well as two town parks and a leisure centre. A comfortable romantic retreat for exploring the area.

The town of Creeslough in County Donegal is situated within easy reach of the wonderful Glenveagh National Park. The village is within easy access of Letterkenny, which has a museum and there's plenty of shops, pubs and places to eat. Whilst making Creeslough your base make sure that you explore as much of Glenveagh National Park as you can. A number of walks can be enjoyed in the park, after which partake in a guided tour of the castle, or enjoy tea and cakes in the tea room, whilst to the northern edge of Lough Beagh is a visitor centre housing a restaurant. There are a number of hills in the area, which once you’ve climbed or walked up boast superb views of the Atlantic Ocean from the top, and there’s also rivers, loughs, historical and religious sites in abundance throughout this part of County Donegal. Also in the area are a variety of beaches, whilst further afield is Malin Head, the most northerly point in Ireland, and across the border is the city of Derry. A convenient base for exploring all that Donegal has to offer.
