The property

Teach Bridget is a large, cream-coloured detached cottage perched within the salmon fishing village of Derrybeg, an ideal base for touring the beautiful region of North West Donegal.

Positioned just a stone’s throw away from sheltered sandy beaches and rugged coastline, this welcoming abode allows you to relax and unwind at any time of the day or night.

With its high spec finish and each bedroom providing en-suite shower rooms for the enjoyment of your stay, you have all you need for a lovely holiday with your family or friends.

Each morning you can rustle up breakfast for the group in the kitchen and gather around the dining table, before you get out exploring.

When you return from your day, the light-filled living area has lovely sofas to ease up on before you head to bed.

There are three ideally positioned, ground-floor bedrooms, the first featuring a super-king-size bed and an en-suite wet room for anyone that requires disabled access, a further super-king-size room and a king-size room, both with en-suite shower rooms.

Three more bedrooms await upstairs, comprising a range of king-size and super-king-size beds with en-suite facilities.

Just off from the living space and hallway there is also a ground-floor cloakroom for your convenience.

Outside, you have plenty of parking and a garden wrapping itself around the house.

During the long summer nights, you can join the locals at the village pubs and listen to live traditional music or perhaps you might like to relax in for the evening with a bottle of wine and a few games in the living space.

Derrybeg is home to a selection of shops and pubs, while just a few minutes’ walk away are some lovely golden sands lining Donegal’s beaches.

Be sure to take a trip over to the towns of Donegal and Letterkenny as well as the lively city of Derry, where you can visit museums and walk the city walls to discover a wonderful history belonging to Ireland.

Those enthused by adventure and seeking the outdoors can find Glenveagh National Park close by, a fabulous area home to towering mountains and pristine lakes.

You can ascend Mount Errigal and take in its impressive views from the top discovering many different styles of Irish terrain on your way up.
