“We had the most amazing week at Kate’s Cottage.”

It was 2 years in the making as we had to rearrange our dates twice due to work commitments, but the owners were really accommodating and flexible. From the moment the car wheels crunched on the gravel drive up to the cottage, we knew we’d made the right holiday choice. The cottage is wonderful, bright and clean, a family sized kitchen, bigger living room with natural log fire, and all the bedrooms were roomy with a very generous master suite. The cottage is wonderful, bright and clean, a family sized kitchen, bigger living room with natural log fire, and all the bedrooms were roomy with a very generous master suite. Nearby Rathmullan (6 minute drive) is delightful, the beach is a super way to stretch your legs (and our 2 dogs legs) in the morning, followed by a hearty breakfast at Belles Kitchen, exploring The Wild Atlantic Way in the afternoons then dinner at The Beachcomber (our favourite) or The Waters Edge (literally!). Our neighbours were wonderful, our 11-year old made friends and they have an honesty box full of the tastiest free range eggs in Ireland! If you’re looking for a relaxing break, some windy walks, the most hospitable people on the planet and really great food, you’ve come to the right place, enjoy!
