The property

Callaghan's bungalow dates back to the 1860s.

It sits amongst the countryside of Kilkeel in Northern Ireland.

With many of the property's original features making this a warming getaway, it boasts the perfect accommodation for families to enjoy.

Step into this rustic cottage and feel instantly welcomed by its charming décor.

To your right lies one of two delightful twin bedrooms, decorated in pretty fashion and lined with original whitewashed walls.

Next you will find a charming family bathroom; thoughtful touches of green help remind you of your marvellous location.

Meals can be prepared and enjoyed in the country-cottage-style kitchen/diner, multi-coloured floor tiles and wooden furnishings bring a rustic feel whilst attractive blue units boast all of the necessary appliances.

After a day of exploring the magnificent Mourne Mountains, you will look forward to returning to Callaghan's heart-warming sitting room, which is dominated by an alluring open fire.

The second twin bedroom boasts floral bed linen and sits next to a handy shower room, while a separate cloakroom lies conveniently opposite.

There aren't many better ways to enjoy this serene rural location than to sit on the picnic benches outside with a drink and simply taking it all in.

The excellent amenities of Kilkeel are within walking distance; this fishing port provides a fine selection of places to eat, drink and shop.
