To gather holiday supplies, you will find the local shop situated within the village of Annalog, taking just a 4-minute drive.

For walking lovers, you have Mourne Mountains, which are the highest mountains range in Northern Ireland, with the highest peak reaching 853m.

Walks range from easy family paths, such as the 1.5 mile Annalong Coastal Path, or more challenging routes such as the Bearnagh and Meelmore route, tackling two of the summits.

The pretty fishing village of Annalong sits at the foot of the Mourne Mountains in County Down, Northern Ireland. It provides two convenience stores and two pubs, one serving seafood and overlooking the village's harbour. There is also two cafés and two takeaways. Nearby, head five miles south along the coast to the well-stocked town of Kilkeel, or seven miles north to the attractive seaside resort of Newcastle. The wonderful city of Newry is also within driving distance and is certainly worth a day trip as it provides a wealth of amenities as well as a museum and much more.
