“The cottage was nice with plenty of space for a family.”

The cottage was well furnished with enough wardrobe and drawer space in each bedroom however a distinct lack of clothes hangers (4 in total for 3 bedrooms). Ample kitchen cupboards however all were full leaving no space to store any kitchen items brought with us. As much as the cupboards were full a lot of the contents appeared personal to owners and not necessary for renters (eg drills and tools) with lack of a tin opener a big disappointment. Also with recycling being such a high profile ...

Also with recycling being such a high profile there were no recycling bins or any information/guidance on how recycling worked in Republic of Ireland which definitely would be helpful for visitors. The interior of cottage does appear to be in the process of being re-decorated however after the heating had been on for a day or so there did seem to be a distinct damp smell which may have been due to cottage being unused for a period or due to an actual damp problem. Overall the stay was what we expected and we thoroughly enjoyed our week. These comments are made to provide some positive criticism to allow owners to make improvements for future customers
