Ballygar is a small, historic town, a short drive away that provides guests with a range of amenities. Another wonderful location for a peaceful stroll is alongside the River Suck in nearby Athleague. For those who enjoy a spot of fishing, there is plenty of stock in this river for fisherman, as well as in the 40 acres of Hollygrove Lake nearby and the peaceful setting of Lough Ree.
