This lovely cottage is situated on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Letterfrack, just off the Connemara Loop, County Galway.

There are four bedrooms with two double (one with en-suite shower), two twin rooms one also with en-suite shower , as well as a family bathroom.

Outside the cottage, the terrain is truly of Connemara, with rocky outcrops visible in the garden, and dotted with gorse and heather.

There is an enclosed gravel area where you can unwind with a good book.

The small village of Letterfrack is a short distance away and sits upon the Connemara Loop, taking you along the Wild Atlantic Way from Westport, and on to Clifden and Galway.

The village boasts a number of pubs and restaurants where you can savour the local tradition and cuisine.

Travel the short distance to neighbouring villages of Leenane and Killary Fiord, where the Atlantic has carved a deep inlet between the mountains, and you can take a boat trip there to explore this wonderful place.

Alternatively, a short journey inland from Leenane through the majestic Maumturk Mountains will take you to the stunning village of Cong.

Plan a visit to Kylemore Abbey, run by the Benedictine nuns, with its magnificent walled garden and enchanting lake.

Further afield, to the west, is the Renvyle Peninsula where you can feel the Atlantic breeze on your face on Renvyle beach.

Consider a day trip to the bustling towns of Clifden and Westport, with their many shops, pubs and cafes.
