The property

This spacious four-bedroom cottage is located near the village of Oughterard, County Galway, a traditional village at the start of the Connemara mountain range and close to the famous Western Way.

Bring along the family for a comfortable stay at Baile Mhic Airt, whether you are celebrating an occasion, or simply looking for some well-deserved relaxation.

Off the delightful entrance hall, there are a series of rooms to enjoy, from the fabulous open-plan living area, to the sitting room which is elevated by an open fire.

The breakfast bar is a lovely place to pour a warm cup of tea in the early hours, and comfy sofas offer the opportunity to settle down in comfort afterwards.

Spend some family time in the lovely snug as the little ones make the most of the toys on offer, then gather together in the characterful dining room to discuss those up and coming adventures over a home-cooked meal.

Four bedrooms promise a peaceful night's sleep, three benefit from lovely en-suites, with a family room comprising a double bed and a single to provide flexible sleeping arrangements.

Wardrobes, bedside tables, a freestanding mirror, and travel cot are all included, with a family bathroom completing the property to a standard of excellence.

Outdoors, the cottage boasts a landscaped area to the front and side, should you wish to continue a social evening in the fresh air, under the sunshine.

Home to the Oughterard 18-hole championship golf course, Derroura Mountain Bike Trail and Aughnanure Castle, there are lots of things to see and do in the area, and located next to Lough Corrib, Oughterard is great for lovers of fishing.

Just a short drive away in Roscahil is the pretty Brigit's Garden; with four main gardens and places to play, sit and relax, this is a great day out for all the family.

Only 17 miles from Oughterard lies Galway City.
