As well as the beautiful Galway scenery surrounding you, you also have a manicured front lawned garden for days soaking up the sunshine and dining alfresco.

The nearby friendly village of Killimor is just a short walk away and provides you with all the essentials such as a local shop, Post Office and a fantastic selection of traditional pubs.

Further afield, but still within easy reach, is the lively town of Portumna where you can visit the Castle and the marina or perhaps enjoy a round of golf at the local 18-hole course; and with the Lough Derg so close, why not hire a boat and spend a relaxing day on the water?

The pretty village of Killimor is located in the east of County Galway and makes a convenient touring base. The friendly village provides all the essential facilities, including a shop, Post Office, church and a good selection of pubs. Less than seven miles from the village is the lively town of Portumna where there are a selection of shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes, along with a playground, the historic Portumna Castle and Portumna marina and harbour. Hire a boat and spend the day sailing the Lough Derg, while walkers and cyclists will love Portumna Forest Park, plus watersports and fishing are easily found and enjoyed at many places in this beautiful Shannon region. The famous Galway City is only 30 minutes' drive away and is famed worldwide for its cobbled streets, cultural atmosphere and traditional Irish music.
