The property

Sea Watch House is a delightful, semi-detached cottage, located on the main street, in the centre of Roundstone, County Galway.

Furnished and decorated in a traditional style, this Roundstone cottage is light and airy, and offers comfortable accommodation, with flexible sleeping arrangements for nine people, including a ground floor double bedroom with en-suite facilities.

The house boasts views of Roundstone Bay and mountains from the front, so you can enjoy village life on your doorstep and Clifden town just 15 miles away, all in a seaside location.

The cosy open fire in this Roundstone cottage is perfect to unwind in front of after a busy day out and about; light it, and then sit back and watch it flicker and roar as you enjoy its warming glow and a cup of tea.

The second floor snug is a great place to escape to if you want a bit of peace and quiet, or on a sunny day, enjoy the raised lawned garden and play family games, or soak up the sun's rays.

Roundstone itself is a great village; it boasts historic attractions, a harbor, shops, restaurants, pubs and a children's playground.

For days on the beach, it's only 2 miles away, while Golf Course, the town of Clifden, and the stunning Connemara National Park are all close by.

Roundstone, in the Connemara region, County Galway, lies on the western arm of Bertraghboy Bay. The entrance to Roundstone harbour is marked by a large, round stone, and the bay itself is often referred to as Round-Stone Haven. Roundstone offers pubs, restaurants, cafes, shops and a children’s playground, plus there is a traditional Irish night in the Summer and a number of festivals take place throughout the year. The village is very popular with artists both local and international, and plays host to the Roundstone Arts Week, a prominent date in the Irish arts calendar. Roundstone is full of historical and geographical points of interest including the remains of a monument to St Brendan, an impressive lighthouse and the bell tower of the Franciscan Monastery, which now stands in the Michael Killeen Park. Just 10 miles from Roundstone is Connemara Golf Club and further afield, there is great scenery to enjoy either on foot, cycle or in the car. The lively town of Clifden has lots if interesting things to see, while the Connemara National Park is just a little further.
