“Tom and Kathleen went above and beyond to make us as comfortable as possible.”

It was a beautiful, quiet little cottage. Ideal for myself and 3 young daughters. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves, they didn't want to go home. Hope to go back next year. Thank you so much for having us stay in your beautiful cottage.

CREGGS, COUNTY GALWAY

Roscommon 9 miles.

Situated in the north west of County Galway and a stone’s throw from the border of County Roscommon is the small rural village of Creggs. Boasting a small population of residents, Creggs is surrounded by glorious green countryside offering customers a true slice of rural living. The village has a local shop, pub serving food and a fish and chip restaurant, and is a short drive to the bustling town of Roscommon. Why not venture to the shores of Lough Rea and try a spot of angling or rent a boat along the Shannon? Also within easy reach is Strokestown House and Gardens, also home to the Irish Famine Museum. The medieval, cobbled streets of Galway are just over an hour away and here you can sample delicious seafood cuisine, traditional Irish music and experience ‘the craic’.
