“I was going to stay downstairs as I've had an operation on my leg, but the downstairs flush didn't work.”

So I ended up walking up/downstairs a lot.The bed is on a slant, the rubbish is not explained well. The rubbish is collected weekly, one week rubbish next week recycling. When we got there, the rubbish bin was full. Leaving bags out, meant the wind blew it around the garden. What a nightmare, upstairs shower is absolutely rubbish. No Internet, if cost us £95 on Internet. So happy the little ones didn't stay, it would have been a holiday from hell. The tv didn't have a lot of channels as stated ...

No Internet, if cost us £95 on Internet. So happy the little ones didn't stay, it would have been a holiday from hell. The tv didn't have a lot of channels as stated and was tiny. It's a beautiful home, but for that amount of money, you would expect what you paid for. WiFi shouldn't be in add as its not included. I'm coming to kilkenny 3 times a year, but will be looking for somewhere else next time.

The response hereunder has already issued directly to this customer on 27th December last immediately post the customers stay and is published here at the request of the letting agent as it is most important that factual inaccuracies are corrected. "I refer to your recent stay in Lovers Lodge Kilkenny and am contacting you regarding your factually incorrect feedback on your stay which has been provided to us by the booking agent. We pride ourselves on providing a service and accommodation of the highest standard and you will see this reflected in the many very satisfied customers in the published online feedback . I must take issue with you on your factually incorrect commentary in your feedback. Your booking ended on Saturday morning last and I attended at the property at 12 noon that day. In fact I facilitated one of the customers in retrieving his passport that he had left behind in the house when he called. You state that the toilet flush did not work. This is correct as we discovered on the Saturday morning post your stay and are currently arranging for this repair at a cost for the parts and the labour involved. Not an easy thing to organise at Christmas. The factual position is that this toilet was operating fine at the end of the booking immediately preceding yours. We had no direct contact from you or indeed contact to the booking agent by you during your stay advising the toilet was not working during your stay. Had it been advised by you, it would have been repaired. This is one of 3 toilets in the house. The collection schedule for refuse is very clearly explained in the house information folder contrary to your comments. Collection is on Fridays and the information folder advises leaving the bins out early. The refuse had not been left out for collection on the Friday prior to my visit on Saturday morning last as all bins were full. The bed is not on a slant. In fact new mattresses were fitted on all beds in November last. The Internet is working as is the TV . In fact I checked both of these myself last Saturday morning as I do in advance of arrivals. The TV is a standard size for the room and is of a size found in hotel bedrooms. This is the very first time I have found it necessary to respond directly to a customer in this manner , in the many years we have been letting the house, but inaccuracies and untruths must be challenged and it is not acceptable for anyone to publish such inaccuracies and believe they can remain unchallenged. I note in fact that on the 13th December last that you sent a what's app message saying " beautiful home" accordingly it is even more difficult to understand the incorrect and negative tone of your feedback comments thereafter."
