    “Wonderful hosts!”

We had a lovely time at the bungalow, basic but everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

The property

Wexford 14 miles.

This charming four bedroom bungalow, attached to the owner's property, is situated in the picturesque countryside of County Wexford, eleven miles from the town of New Ross.

With accommodation all on the ground floor, including a spacious sitting room and four comfortably sized bedrooms, this property sleeps up to seven adults and is well suited to family holidays or small groups.

Entering the property from the front garden, you will enter a hallway which runs the length of the bungalow, and features wood laminate flooring.

On your left is the comfortable sitting room, with Saorview television, followed by a well-appointed bathroom including separate electric shower.

Heading towards the rear of the property there are four large bedrooms - three doubles and a single - before you reach the spacious kitchen and dining area, with delightful views over the owner's garden to the back of the bungalow.

As well as a large dining table, the kitchen includes a gas oven and hob, washing machine, microwave and a range cooker which provides additional heating for the property, on top of the oil fired central heating.

Outside the bungalow are gardens to the front and side.

These are well kept, peaceful spots ideal to while away a weekday afternoon or as a calming retreat after a day exploring the Wexford countryside.

Note that both gardens are shared with the property owner.

Within a hundred metres of the property is a traditional Irish pub, as well as local shops and a restaurant.

For more varied shops and attractions, the town of New Ross is a short, 11 mile drive away.

And if you're looking for a day by the sea, it's only 7 miles to the beach - just about walkable if you don't want to use the car.

All in all, this is a superb location for a family holiday and an ideal base for exploring the delights that County Wexford has to offer.

The area offers fine beaches and restaurants, with seafood being a speciality, and a number of activities including angling, canoeing, windsurfing, snorkelling, golf and quad biking, with river cruises also available.
