The property

Set within idyllic 120-acre countryside grounds is the beautiful Belline Estate, a period property split into two dwellings, one being The Coach House.

Boasting four bedrooms and spacious reception rooms, The Coach House is the perfect property for a family gathering or group getaway, with the fabulous addition of extensive grounds to roam.

Discover a traditional country kitchen with tiled flooring and a timber clad roof, complete with all the appliances you need to rustle up large family meals.

Walk through the red brick arches and into the dining area to prepare the long wooden table for the evening meal, gathering together after a busy day and recounting wonderful memories.

Afterwards retire to one of the plush sofas in the sitting area, enjoying the warmth from the woodburning stove on a cool evening, with a TV to watch into the evening.

One of the bedrooms rests on the ground floor with twin beds and an en-suite shower room, it's ideal for the older generation in the group.

Head upstairs to find three more lovely bedrooms all with double beds, one of which boasts an en-suite and another home to a four-poster bed, while the bedrooms without en-suites are served by the excellent family bathroom.

Enveloped by the picturesque views of the rolling countryside is the historic Belline Estate, boasting two beautifully transformed properties for you and your loved ones to call home as you savour the delights of this unique setting and the borders of counties Waterford and Kilkenny. Coach House and Hunter’s Lodge enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the impressive 120-acre estate, home to enchanting mature woodlands and resident farm animals, so there is certainly something for all ages and tastes here. The properties have been lovingly restored, with a seamless combination of modern conveniences with lots of period features, to create wonderful places to return to at the end of each day. Both properties benefit from fully-equipped kitchens, certain to cater to all your culinary delights, as well as spacious sitting rooms, each complete with woodburning stoves, that set a cosy ambiance during the winter months. Should you wish to leave this oasis, venture into the nearby village of Piltown, where you will find a friendly pub, a number of takeaways and a shop for picking up any essentials. Walks are in abundance here, with five river systems to meander alongside, all situated around magical mountains that can be climbed, as well as a patchwork of fertile valleys and plains which are awaiting to be explored. Recommended walks include visiting Poulanassy Waterfall and the historical landmark of Leac an Scail, Kilmogue Dolmen, or soak up the views as you journey along the Tory Hill Loop Walk Trailhead. Alternatively, horse-racing enthusiasts can look forward to a day at Gowran Park Race Course, while fishing and golfing opportunities are in abundance also. Resting in Ireland's 'Sunny South East' in County Kilkenny is the village of Piltown, a small settlement which is home to to Ireland's largest Horticultural and Agricultural College. The village is situated between the rolling hills and forests of South Kilkenny and the foothills of the Comeraghs in Waterford, making this a great location for walkers to base themselves, with easy access along the main road N24 connecting you to Waterford, Tramore, Kilkenny and Clonmel. Within the village itself you can find a local takeaway, a butchers and a supermarket, along with a pub Anthony's Inn, offering everything you need for a self-catered stay. Visit the town during the annual agricultural show in August, The Iverk Agricultural Show, holding the record as Ireland's longest running agricultural show and great fun for all the family.
