The property

This wonderful detached cottage is a few miles from the historic market town of Roscrea in County Tipperary and is situated across the road from the owner’s B & B.

Beautifully decorated, this splendid cottage is ideal for families and friends who wish to enjoy time together in one of the most lovely parts of Ireland.

This cottage has a modern kitchen with dining area where you can enjoy a sumptuous meal before adjourning to the sitting room which has an open fire to relax and plan the next day’s activities.

The cottage has five beautiful bedrooms, all with en-suite Jacuzzi baths and one bedroom has access to the rear decked area.

To the rear of the property is a sheltered patio area with furniture and barbeque, where you can dine alfresco or just relax with a refreshing drink and a good book before using the fabulous hot tub!

The owner’s lake, which is stocked with fish, is just a few minute’s walk from this holiday cottage and private rental can be arranged directly with the owner.

A short drive from this delightful cottage is the market town of Roscrea where you will be able to visit Monaincha Church, St. Cronans High Cross and Round Tower, together with Roscrea Castle.

There is so much to see and do in the area – if you’re feeling energetic practice your golf at the local golf club or for a spot of relaxation, visit the Fancroft Mills and Gardens .

Situated in the eastern corner of County Tipperary, and a stone’s throw from both counties Laois and Offaly, is the historic market town of Roscrea. Home to many fascinating monuments such as a 13th century castle and St. Cronans Church, Roscrea and the surrounding areas have a superb selection of attractions. The town offers holidaymakers a generous slice of heritage, scenery and culture including The Fancroft Mills and Gardens, High Cross and round tower, along with an excellent golf club, and the Roscrea Leisure Centre and equestrian centre. Located near the Slieve Bloom Mountains, this region is a paradise for hill walkers, and cycling and fishing are also extremely popular with many rivers, including the Little Brosna, The Camcor and the Bunow in the area.
