“I have stayed in many Hogans & Sykes cottages this one without a doubt is the best ever.”

Fantastic view and the amenities at the cottage were v good. Well done to Michael the owner after 10 years refurbishing a derelict house.

Upon arrival, you'll be pleased to find a gravelled driveway, where you can park up and easily unload your belongings into your new home-from-home.

Venture inside to be welcomed by the flickering flames of the woodburning stove and gas fire; especially ideal during the chillier months!

After a busy day, kick back and relax on the plush sofa and armchair in front of the TV with your favourite tipple in hand.

When the chef of the group has fixed up a tasty meal, enjoy it around the dining table whilst you marvel at those dreamy views of the lough.

As the day comes to an end, head to the back of the cottage to find three well-furnished bedrooms, two of which are doubles, with one of these enjoying lough views and access to an en-suite wet room, whilst the latter bedroom is a spacious twin room.

The family shower room is close-by, a contemporary space enjoying marble tiling throughout.

Try your hand at angling on Cavetown Lough, where the likes of perch, roach, pike and bream can be found, or simply embark on a leisurely stroll around the serene waters.
