The property

Set on the edge of the peaceful village of Fenagh in County Leitrim this charming detached cottage is four miles from Ballinamore.

There are a number of lakes in the area including St John?s, Drumlaheen and the crystal clear waters of Fenagh which makes this a fantastic base for friends and families.

Inside you will the cottage is bright and spacious with the benefit of a ground floor bedroom with an en-suite shower room which will suit any less mobile guests.

The heart of the home is the large open plan living area which has a kitchen, dining area and a sitting area which provides a cosy retreat with a multi-fuel stove.

You will find everything you need to prepare home-cooked meals and there is plenty of space to spread the maps out and plan the next day?s adventure.

If you would like a bit of peace and quiet from the rest of the group you can take advantage of the second sitting room which has an open fire and is perfect for curling up with a good book.

Upstairs are a further three bedrooms which are tastefully decorated.

The cottage is surrounded by countryside so you can sit out, take in the view and enjoy a drink with your loved ones while the children play.

With such a variety of things to do nearby, you will be spoilt for choice.

The Fenagh Visitor Centre is well worth a visit where you can explore the heritage of the area, or relax in the cafe whilst the younger members of your party enjoy the soft play area in the Monk's Den.

Within a half an hour drive you can reach Lough Allen, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, you can walk the country roads through open mountains and woodland and enjoy the stunning panoramic views.

Nearby Ballinamore is a haven for cyclists and has a number of cycle routes that travel through the town.

Atheiri Cottage is sure to delight all members of your group and will provide a scenic and peaceful holiday.
