    “A beautiful property set in the countryside.”

    The property was clean, bright and airy. All mod cons including 55 inch smart TV, Sky, and WiFi. Thourghly enjoyed our stay there and definitely would visit again.

This lovely semi-detached cottage is situated next to the owner?s home, close to Lough Arrow and two miles from the village of Castlebaldwin in County Sligo.

A delightful cottage for a small family or friends, this is an ideal base for exploring this area of Ireland.

Set over two floors, there?s a kitchen with dining area and electric stove, as well as a sitting room with electric fire on the ground floor.

Go up the stairs to the first floor where you will find the bedrooms and bathrooms, so after a busy day take a relaxing shower before a good night?s sleep enabling you feel fresh and ready to visit more attractions or places that this part of the Emerald Isle is famed for.

Outside and to the front of the property are a patio and a lawned garden, so why not light the barbecue and enjoy a spot of alfresco dining?

Close by is the small village of Castlebaldwin and Lough Arrow is also within reach, a haven for fishermen.

Carrick-on-Shannon and Sligo Town can also be reached, both of which offer attractions, shops, pubs and restaurants.

The small village of Castlebaldwin in County Sligo is home to the Sathya Sai Donkey Sanctuary, Castlebaldwin Castle and Carrowkeel Passage Tombs Site, one of the largest passage tomb cemeteries in Ireland. In the heart of the village is McDermotts Bar and Restaurant and a supermarket, and is located on the N4, the main Sligo-to-Dublin Road, giving it a great position for guests to enjoy lots of attractions and days out within easy reach. There is fishing available on Lough Arrow and Lough Bo, Lough Key Forest Park has something for children of all ages, with its Tree Canopy Walk, Zipit, Woodland Segway and the Adventure Play Kingdom, whilst all the family can go back in time at Sligo Folk Park in nearby Riverstown. Also, within easy reach is Ballymote, a historic market town with Ballymote Castle dating from 1300. Visit Des McDonogh's Pub to enjoy live Irish music. All these attractions and many more are within easy reach of Castlebaldwin, waiting to be discovered.
