This comfortable detached cottage is set in peaceful green countryside near the pretty village of Collaney in County Sligo.

The cottage is welcoming and homely and has been decorated and furnished with care and attention to give guests a comfortable holiday base.

With walks from the door and a variety of activities on offer, this well-positioned two bedroomed cottage is perfect for couples and friends to have a relaxing holiday in the Emerald Isle.

Inside you will find a kitchen with everything you need to make a delicious home-cooked meal or prepare a picnic in the morning to take with you while you explore the area.

For evening meals, there is a dining area where the group can sit together enjoying the warmth from the woodburning stove before retiring to the cosy sitting room which has an open fire to add to the feeling of relaxation.

Outside you can take in the countryside views from the lawned gardens which are to the rear and side of the cottage.

The nearby village of Coolaney offers visitors fantastic riverside and mountain walks as it sits at the base of the Ox Mountains and the Owen Beg River runs through the centre.

This area is filled with opportunities to enjoy the sea, sand and salty air as the Atlantic Ocean flows into Ballisodare Bay close by and Sligo offers some stunning scenery with Aughris Point, Enniscrone and Easky along Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way.

In Sligo itself there are plenty of opportunities to dine out with a choice of pubs and restaurants with very tempting menus featuring local seafood.
