Located close to the village of Curry in County Sligo, in the grounds of the owners’ sheep farm, is this homely detached cottage.

Set amid miles of beautiful countryside, with access to a private forest, this wonderful cottage makes the perfect choice for a peaceful getaway from the rush of day to day life.

Built in 1850, this ground floor cottage has been tastefully restored featuring an open plan living area, with a cosy sitting area, well equipped kitchen as well as two comfortable bedrooms and a family bathroom.

Dine alfresco and enjoy a refreshing drink in the garden whilst sharing memories of the day’s adventures.

Guests can pick their own blackberries, blackcurrants and even wild strawberries in the owners’ neighbouring organic fields.

The village of Curry makes an ideal touring base to explore County Sligo, with many of its main attractions within easy read.

Take a trip up to the coast, where children can play on the sandy beaches, and dip their toes in the Atlantic Ocean!

Take a walk up Queen Maeve’s Trail, where from the summit of Knockarea you can enjoy the fantastic views over the ocean.

There is so much to do for the whole family in this wonderful region.

The town of Sligo is within easy reach, where you will find a selection of eateries to suit every taste, as well as shops and traditional Irish pubs.

While in the area don’t forget to visit the beautiful Glencar Waterfall, and while away an afternoon at the Niland Art Gallery.
