This detached, ground floor, traditional, white-washed cottage is just two miles from the small village of Julianstown in County Meath.

Set just five miles from the coast, this Meath cottage is a wonderful base for a holiday with family or friends near the sea or for those who are interested in visiting the many historical sites around this fascinating area.

The owner’s touches throughout the property really help to create a homely and cosy feel and the sitting room, with its open fire, is the perfect place to relax on cooler evenings, whilst planning what to do next on your Irish adventure.

Outside, guests can relax in the front, enclosed, walled garden at this Meath cottage and perhaps enjoy dining alfresco in the beautiful rear garden, which overlooks the fields and is surrounded by five acres of organic apple trees on site.

This historic county is wonderful to discover and there are plenty of activities to keep everyone happy, from excellent fishing available in the area to walking opportunities with stunning views.

With the exciting town of Drogheda, in County Louth, just five miles away, and all of the exciting attractions and amenities in the city of Dublin just a half hour drive away, this Julianstown cottage is in a fantastic setting for your Irish holiday.

Julianstown is a small village in County Meath and is situated on the River Nanny which flows into the sea at Laytown only a few miles away and Bettystown at the seaside. Julianstown is just 25 minutes’ drive from Dublin airport, so is easily accessible. It provides a superb base to explore Meath, Dublin and Louth, with the exciting town of Drogheda only five miles away with a delightful selection of shops, pubs, restaurants and historical sites to see, such as the Battle of the Boyne, and the historical village of Duleek. County Meath is known as the Royal County and was once the territory of Ireland’s High Kings. The county is populated with historic sites and monuments throughout, one of the most famous is the Hill of Tara. The River Boyne flows through Meath and provides some of the country’s finest salmon and trout fishing.
