The property

A delightful, semi-detached cottage sited alongside the owners’ home in the heart of Monasteraden, County Sligo, a sleepy little village resting on the shores of Lough Gara.

This welcoming cottage in Monasteraden offers a spacious and comfortable holiday home, perfect for groups wishing to spend time discovering County Sligo together.

The accommodation at this large cottage in County Sligo sits across three floors, with six bedrooms at ground floor level, each with their own en-suite and TV, so you can relish lie ins and laid back mornings.

The first floor of this Monasteraden cottage comes with a well-equipped kitchen where you can prepare a family feast to share in the spacious dining room, and at the close of an exciting day, why not settle in the sitting room, play games on the Wii, or select a film from Netflix or from the extensive selection of DVDs?

For a fun-filled family night, guests can set up a foosball or air hockey event in the other half of the large sitting room, a sure-fire way to entertain every member of your party!

Outside this Monasteraden cottage you’ll find a pretty lawned garden to the rear, complete with a patio and a pond, where you can sit and soak up the sunshine, get lost in a good book, or picnic together on the well-kept lawns.

Enjoy a boating excursion or some free fishing, or discover wonderful walks trailing the surrounding countryside, with additional outdoor pastimes including clay pigeon shooting, horse riding and archery all readily available for the intrepid adventurer!

Within very easy driving distance of this Monasteraden cottage you will find, across the border, the bustling town of Ballaghaderreen, with its selection of shops and bars plus a 9-hole parkland golf course.

Take a pleasure ride along the river at Carrick-on-Shannon or enjoy a family day out at the Lough Key Forest and Activity Park, plus a trip over the border into County Mayo’s Westport is a must!
