The property

This is a delightful, characterful holiday cottage in County Sligo, offering attractive, spacious holiday accommodation all on the ground floor level.

This detached cottage is located just a short walk from the sandy beach at Cliffoney, in County Sligo, meaning it's a great base for a family looking for a coastal break in Ireland.

You will feel very welcomed by this Cliffoney cottage as you enter the charming sitting room with its tasteful, neutral decor, tiled floor and exposed stone walls.

This is a great, spacious room in which to relax in front of the roaring open fire with a glass of wine, perhaps after a day at the beach or out and about discovering the attractions of County Sligo.

The large, well-equipped kitchen in your Cliffoney cottage will make self-catering on your cottage holiday a pleasure, with a lovely dining area to take advantage of.

If eating out is your thing, however, there are plenty of bars and restaurants to enjoy in Sligo Town, 16 miles away.

There is plenty to enjoy from your Cliffoney cottage; being nestled at the foot of the Benbulben and Benwiskin Mountains, Cliffoney overlooks Donegal Bay, and Mullaghmore Harbour, meaning there is lovely scenery to enjoy in the area.

Enjoy walking and lake and river fishing in Cliffoney or visit the Marble Arch Caves an hour's drive away.

When you return to your Cliffoney cottage, why not enjoy a game of pool in the snug or, if the weather's nice, sit out on the south facing patio with a cold drink?
