A lovely historic harbour town located around the 13th century King John’s Castle, a real haven for fishing, boating, bird watching, cycling and enthusiasts alike with hillwalking /hiking in the nearby Comeragh Mountains & scenic Nire Valley. Dungarvan really comes alive in summertime, with residents and visitors all indulging in their favourite water sports, or dining the evenings away in one of the harbourside cafes, pubs or restaurants.
