“We arrived on the 7th Sept @ 8;30 pm, we found that there were no instructions how things worked, lack of hot water in the kitchen sink and also in the bathrooms, the shower worked ok.”
but no hot water in the sinks.Sunday 8th Mrs Kinsella came over to the cottage , We told her that there was no hot water for the sinks in the bedrooms en suits ( it gave a little then went cold) and the kitchen was the same, and we had to boil the kettle to get some, she said to turn on the switch,s for a hour, we had tried this already and tried it again but it did not make any difference,
I spoke to Mr Kincella about it and he said he would get the electrician in tomorrow.Monday Spoke to Mr Kinsella again about the electrician he said he would be here tomorrow, 6::30 pm and no electrician, he then came over with another man and they got up in the attic of the building and worked up there until 9 Pm and managed to get hot water to the hand basins. but not the kitchen Sink. we also mentioned about the TV which did not work , his daughter was there also and between then got the TV working and gave instructions on how to work it.
The kettle still has to be boiled every day for the kitchen sink washing up until we left for home.There was no frying pan, we asked for 1 it was delivered and it was disgusting. their was a lack of equipment, only 2 tea spoons so when we had boiled eggs it was stir the tea then eat the eggs.
In the bed rooms, the one at the end has no door on the bathroom/ toilet, the room we used has glass windows in the ceiling and this collects condensation which produces droplets of water which drops near to the edge of the bed>all in all a disappointment all round. Why do you not publish a help line phone number for people booking your properties ???. so you can
see why we not support you in your endeavour to win acclaim. in fact I should send a copy of this letter to the Comp.
