There are lush green lawns that surround your holiday home, great for keeping the children entertained, whilst the adults can sit back, relax and enjoy their favourite tipple in the afternoon sunshine.

Pack a picnic and head off for a relaxing day on the sun-kissed shores of Curracloe Beach, only a mile away.

This long and wide beach is awash with fine golden sand and was made famous as the filming location of the D-Day landings in Saving Private Ryan.

Roll out your towel and feel the sand between your toes or enjoy a splash in the safe waters.

If a spot of surfing or horse riding are more to your taste, these are also opportunities to indulge in these outdoor activities close by.
