“All members of my family loved this cottage.”

There is a high level of cleanliness and it is extremely well equipped and comfortable. The accommodation is spacious, was very warm and the beds, particularly the master, are very comfortable. The location is great being in the countryside but not too far from the nearest villages. There is ample parking and a sun trap to relax outside if you are there in the summer with nice views. ...

There is a high level of cleanliness and it is extremely well equipped and comfortable. The accommodation is spacious, was very warm and the beds, particularly the master, are very comfortable. The location is great being in the countryside but not too far from the nearest villages. There is ample parking and a sun trap to relax outside if you are there in the summer with nice views. Our holiday coincided with the Covid-19 lock down and therefore we were not able to experience all this lovely area has to offer. However, we were lucky enough to eat and drink at the weekend in the excellent bars/restaurants in Duncannon before the complete shut down on the Monday. Despite this we made the best of it by exploring the local area and beautiful beaches. We can highly recommend this cottage and wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Appreciate the glorious surrounding views from the patio outside, perhaps even enjoy an alfresco meal in the summer.

The charming and attractive village of Duncannon is close by; it plays host to a choice of superb eateries as well as a fabulous sandy beach overlooked by Duncannon Fort.

A wider range of amenities can be found at the towns of New Ross and Wexford on this side of the border, with the idyllic seaport of Waterford just across the border.

The picturesque fishing village of Duncannon is situated in southwest County Wexford, and is dominated by Duncannon Fort, which sits on a rocky outcrop jutting into the channel. Waterford Harbour lies to the west and the golden sandy beach is popular for swimming and sunbathing. The International Sand Sculpting Festival is a village highlight each year.
