This detached cottage is a delightful base on the peaceful, private five acre site of Hookless Village holiday development, set just three miles from the village of Fethard-on-Sea on the beautiful Hook Peninsula in County Wexford. There are three bedrooms to choose from when you’re ready to retire for the night, with a double bedroom on the ground floor with an en-suite shower room and upstairs, a double bedroom and a single bedroom, along with the family bathroom. The Hook Peninsula is always ready to greet visitors with a warm, friendly welcome, no matter what you’re after on your break, whether it’s a relaxed family holiday, a leisure break or one of the other many specialist activities on offer. This area is perfect for horse riding, cycling, fishing, walking or just enjoying a lazy day on the beach. There are many beaches to choose from as there are 14 lovely beaches in the area and Sandeel Bay in right on your doorstep. Well worth a visit on your holiday is the Hook Lighthouse as it is only a 10 minute drive from your cottage and is an amazing, memorable landmark, with breathtaking views from its balcony of the peninsula and it is said to be the oldest operational lighthouse in Europe. This part of Ireland is known as a distinctly different area compared to the rest of Ireland as it has its own history, culture, character and landscape. This impressive corner allows guests to be within easy reach of fantastic places, including Waterford, Rosslare Harbour, Kilkenny and Wexford and the popular city of Dublin is just over a two hour drive away. All this and more means that this charming cottage will guarantee a memorable holiday that you’ll want to repeat year after year.
