Near the coastline, you can explore all it has to offer, including a selection of beaches with golden sands and clear waters for swimming.

The village of Blackwater is just 20 miles north of the ferry port at Rosslare. There is a busy village atmosphere with two shops and a selection of pubs. Less than 2 miles away is the stunning coastline of Wexford Bay, which boasts 20 miles of sandy Blue Flag beaches backed by dunes and nature trails. The southernmost stretch of beach at Curracloe has been voted “The best beach in Ireland” and was the location for the opening shots of the movie blockbuster Saving Private Ryan.
