“The setting of the cottage was beautiful peaceful & away from it all.”
Lot's of places to visit without having to travel too far we loved it.The owners were very helpful & easy to contact plus .we were very lucky with the weather was great thank-you
The house is located in the middle of the forest in a very peaceful area. The house is equipped with everything you might need for a nice holiday. We were absolutely satisfied as we needed a quiet holiday. A big thanks for it.. :)
This is a small, well equipped property in the middle of woodland but only 30 minutes drive from the Rosslare Ferry. The location is superb, very quiet but close to nearby towns & there is a very good farm shop 5 minutes drive away. The owners are very friendly and check in was no problem. My only reservation is that the steps up to the bedroom are very steep: for us part of the charm, but not suitable for anyone with limited mobility, although there is a futon in the conservatory
Wexford Town 5 miles. Two lovely, detached Wexford cottages situated in a rural location, 3 miles from the village of Murrintown, and only 5 miles from Wexford Town, County Wexford. Alderlane Cottage, a former farmhouse, is the larger of these two Wexford cottages and dates back 200-300 years. With lots of delightful character features such as exposed stone walls and a tiled floor in the sitting room, as well as two woodburners and exposed brickwork and an unusual pine-clad roof in all of the bedrooms, it makes a great, traditional base for any Wexford cottage holiday. Alderlane Stables, the smaller of these Wexford cottages, is a fantastic, romantic hideaway with a cosy woodburner so you can curl up with your loved one in the evenings. Both of these Wexford cottages benefit from a rural location, so why not sit back, relax and unwind in peace on your Wexford cottage holiday? Head to Wexford Town and enjoy a day at the beach, a round of golf or maybe even a trip to Hook Lighthouse, easily accessible from these Wexford cottages.
This cosy romantic cottage is the smaller of two on the same site, 3 miles from Murrintown, and only 5 miles from Wexford Town, County Wexford.
Ideal for couples seeking a romantic escape, this Wexford cottage has a mezzanine double bedroom, and a lovely open plan living area with a cosy woodburner.
Outside this Wexford cottage there are 45 acres of shared woodland and informal gardens, so a wander around is a must, and if you fancy venturing a little further, there are miles and miles of beautiful sandy beaches to discover.
A day out to Hook Lighthouse is a great way to explore some of Ireland's fascinating tourist attractions, and for an exciting afternoon, take a boat trip to watch seals on the sandbanks.
Make the most of your rural surroundings with a peaceful break at this Wexford cottage; enjoy long summer walks, or brisk wintery strolls through some of the beautiful landscape in the area, and finish each day by the fire, curled up with the one you love.
A great way to spend a Wexford cottage holiday with the one you love.
