The property

This spacious detached cottage is located in Carrick on Bannow in County Wexford and is ideal for large families and groups wanting to explore this delightful part of Ireland.

Set over two floors, there are four spacious bedrooms, two of which offer en-suite facilities, as well as a family bathroom.

There are two sitting rooms and a delightful sun room which overlooks the back garden.

The spacious and well-equipped kitchen features a large dining table, ideal for gathering around whilst enjoying home-cooked meals together.

Outside the enclosed lawned garden includes a patio and furniture, and is a lovely place to relax after a busy day of exploring the local area.

The small village of Carrick offers a shop and three pubs.

The popular seaside resort of Rosslare can be reached within half an hour and is a hive of activity during the summer months attracting many visitors to the Blue Flag sandy beach and seafront which offers a good selection of pubs, shops and cafes.

Waterford, Ireland’s oldest city is just thirty miles away and is well worth a visit whilst you are in the area.

Home to the famous Waterford Crystal, the visitors centre houses Ireland’s finest collection of exquisite cut glass.

Bursting with shops, markets, traditional pubs and a rich heritage, the city has a vibrant personality and comes alive all year round with plenty of culture and activities.

This lovely cottage is a wonderful base for exploring all that the Sunny South East has to offer.

Carrick is a small village, with a shop, three pubs, a hairdresser’s and a guesthouse, in County Wexford, on the east coast of Ireland. Half an hour by car will take you to the cliff top village of Rosslare; with the second largest harbour in Ireland and panoramic views of Rosslare Bay, it is well worth a visit. A little further afield is the port town of New Ross where you can experience life on an emigrant ship aboard the historic Dunbrody Famine Ship, explore fine beaches and restaurants or try one of the many activities on offer including angling, golf or even a river cruise. With miles of safe sandy beaches, family friendly restaurants to enjoy, and the possibility of spotting a dolphin or whale, County Wexford has something to suit all tastes.
