“Many properties are advertised as a home from home but this property really is just that.”

Everything you could possibly need is provided and on top of that, everything is the best quality. We had such a fabulous time exploring the stunning surroundings but loved returning to the comforts of the cottage and the stunning continuously changing view through the huge window in the lounge. Our personal greeting on arrival was lovely and the home baked scones and wine gifts were both delicious and thoughtful. My parents never sleep as well away from home but here, they slept even better ...

My parents never sleep as well away from home but here, they slept even better than at home! We absolutely recommend this property and area and hope to return ourselves in the near future.

The property

Curragh Hill is a wonderful, semi-detached dormer bungalow nestled on the Wild Atlantic Way, on the outskirts of Mulranny village.

Set over two floors, this delightful escape is perfect for friends and family seeking some time by the coast.

As you arrive by the property, take some time to marvel at the beautiful bay and sea, a perfectly tranquil spot to begin each day, before venturing inside.

The living/dining room benefits from laminate flooring throughout and is uplifted by natural lighting from the dual aspect windows, creating a lovely space to unwind and socialise.

There’s plenty of seating to get comfortable, plus the addition of a woodburning stove and Smart TV allow for family movie nights in.

Boasting an all-white overtone, the kitchen is amply equipped with all the necessary appliances for home-cooking, while the utility room hosts a washing machine and tumble dryer.

Take the evening outside to the patio area, where you can enjoy a barbecue or catch some rays on the sun loungers, all while the stunning coastal backdrop puts your mind at ease.

The property boasts three well-decorated bedrooms, including a double on the ground floor, ideal for those with limited mobility, while upstairs presents two king-size rooms with views of the Atlantic ocean – a lovely sight to wake up to!

There is also a contemporary shower room where you can prepare for the day, and a downstairs cloakroom for convenience.

Start off the morning with a stroll along the coastline, or head into the local village of Mulranny to source the ingredients for a hearty breakfast.

There is also a handful of restaurants and pubs including Nevin’s Newfield Inn, serving a fine menu and selection of ales.

There are plenty of opportunities for outdoor adventure with walking and cycling in every direction and Mulranny Beach nearby, a spectacular cove with beautiful sand backed by machair dunes, as well as The Greenway, a 42km traffic-free route being a delight for the avid cyclist.

There’s plenty to look forward to during your stay at Currag Hill.
