What guests are saying
My wife and I had our best holiday ever at An Granian Getaway.
We loved the house which was very clean, spacious and peaceful. It proved to be a great base from which to head out to explore Donegal with many interesting places to see and things to do within about a half hour drive in all directions. In the evenings, it was wonderful to come back to our own "home from home" and relax. The owner, Karen, was very friendly and willing to assist us with any queries we might have. We thoroughly recommend An Granian Getaway for a great Donegal holiday and would happily return!
Had a fantastic stay at An Grianan.
It was the perfect location for our family break of football and sight seeing. We had our son playing in the Foyle cup and one of the days of games was a very short distance for this home. We were so close to Derry too, was amazing and so many other areas to explore close by like the amazing beaches. The views from this home are second to none literally breathtaking! Karen was a very attentive host checking in to see all was going well. We would love to plan a stay again here as we didn’t get to see all of the local tourists hot spots.
This lovely house is in a great location to explore the Inishowen peninsula, the Wild Atlantic Way and nearby Derry.
It looks out over glorious views of the Donegal countryside, Lough Swilly and Inch Island. The 360degree views from the nearby Grianan of Aileach hill fort are stunning. The house itself is spacious, spotlessly clean with lots of places to sit and relax and enjoy the view. Karen and Paul were very helpful and welcoming hosts.
