The house has amazing views and is perfect for using as a quiet base to explore all that Galway has to offer. We spent most of our time when we were in the house sitting in the kitchen, enjoying the peat fire, or in the sun room just looking at the view. We spent most of our time when we were in the house sitting in the kitchen, enjoying the peat fire, or in the sun room just looking at the view. We also enjoyed some of the best night's sleep in ages in the comfortable beds. We arrived to find a lit fire, fresh baked scones, and a bottle of wine, and one of the owners, Michael, on hand to show us where everything was and how things worked. The other owner, Cepta, checked in with us a couple of times during the week to make sure we had everything we needed and gave us suggestions on where to visit and places to eat and that was very much appreciated. The local Centra store has everything you need if you don't want to drive a little further to other shops and the locals were very friendly and welcoming. An excellent home from home, fully accessible for those with mobility issues, and one we'd definitely recommend.
