Teach Ards is a fabulous farmhouse which has wheelchair accessibility in the rural village of Kilgavarn in County Kerry.

Park up on the private driveway and walk into your new holiday abode.
Enter the sitting room to the left to get your name on one of the armchairs or plonk down on the sofa.
Get the fire on to give the room a homely feeling as you settle in.
The Smart TV is on offer for you to find a show to have a slight binge on or have a read with books available.
When the stomach starts to rumble, cook up a storm using the double gas oven and gas hobs.
Gather everyone around the dining table if they’re not already there due to the gorgeous smell.
After food, take a drink out to take in the stunning views all around you as the sun sets, giving the sky a golden touch.
When the stars start to wave down, you get some rest in the ground-floor bedroom that is wheelchair accessible.
Upstairs, there is one king-size, a twin, and a super-king-size bedroom to choose from.
Start the day by using the shower room to prepare for more family fun.
There is a shop and a pub close by for any essentials or a drink.
In Kilgavarn, be sure to check out the motor museum that has tons of classic cars on display.
Have a tranquil walk through the stunning greenery or along the river to see the ruins of the 13th-century Ardtully Castle.
In Kenmare, go seal-spotting in Kenmare Bay, let the kids run wild at Star Outdoors Adventure Centre with water obstacle courses or have a night-time kayaking session to see the water sparkle.
Slightly further away is Killarney for another brilliant day out.
Visit the breathtaking Killarney National Park with some unbelievable waterfalls on display, have a stroll through the sumptuous gardens to see the historic Muckross House or give the kids some freedom at Knockreer Playground.

Such a lovely home.
.. the exterior photo does not do justice to the home's comfortable style and accommodations. It's proximity to sight-seeing and all of the local beauty were very welcome, from the prancing deer to the neighborly Border Collie, who graced us with her sweet and exuberant nature. We appreciated the 'accessible' bed/bath as well as the other accommodations. The house rules were clear and reasonable. WIFI was a little spotty, maybe because of the rain? The views were stunning. It was a bit of a windy road to access, but well worth it. Very, very enjoyable.
We were a family of 6 on a long weekend break.
The cottage was very good and catered for our needs perfectly. The showers were good, warm and powerful enough. The kitchen had plenty of plates, utensils etc to make it easy to eat in. The bedrooms were a good size, the beds and mattresses were comfortable. The place was clean, tidy, warm with excellent parking, lovely gardens and fantastic tranquil views. This was a very good place to stay, the location is secluded so you need to drive if you want to visit the local towns. I would recommend to stay here for any groups of 6 or more.
