McGuire's Cottage

A fantastic family house for 8 of us to celebrate a Family Gathering of 120 relatives in Belmullet, in this beautiful part of Mayo.

Our grandchildren (aged 6 and 7) had a fabulous time exploring as many secluded beaches as they could find, and completing walks such as the Erris Head Loop, climbing Croagh Patrick and visiting ancient sites, castles and Abbeys. There's lots of space in this beautiful and well-maintained house for everyone to enjoy the amenities, and the views over Broadhaven Bay. The hosts, Loretta and Paddy have been so friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed her warm scones and home-made jam and cream. Loads of fun, laughter and the craic! Thank you so much - we hope to return.

This is excellent accommodation.

The beds are very comfortable and everything is spotless and very clean and well stocked with everything. It is a home from home accommodation. The house is very warm making it excellent for winter or off season holiday. Loretta the owner is very friendly and caring. She asked us if we wanted anything in the shops before we arrived and when we opened the door there was a fridge stocked with basics for a cup of tea and biscuits left on the table. 10 out of 10 for this accommodation at all levels.

We spent an enjoyable week at McGuire's Cottage.

It is a very spacious property, which was perfect for our extended family group to share. The kitchen is very well equipped and the numerous en suite bathrooms were much appreciated. There are good views out to the coast and mountains. I hadn't appreciated when booking that the location was quite so remote. There are many lovely places to visit by car, but it is not a property that you can walk from. The owners are very helpful and we all enjoyed the delicious scones baked by Loretta.

Wonderful house, loads of space, very nice, beautiful location, so peaceful.

The views are stunning. Loretta and Paddy were lovely made us feel really welcome and very helpful. Loretta surprised us with her lovely Scones and lovely brown bread which where delicious. We hope to come back in the future. The Hamiltons Lynsey

Nice clean home that was perfectly located for us, lovely extra touch with fresh bread and a nice welcome from Lorretta.

Property was better than described, plenty of space for all of us and well equipped with utensils for cooking etc.

The hosts, Loretta and Paddy were extremely helpful and gave us such a warm welcome. It truely felt like a home away from home, but in a beautiful location with good connections to the surrounding attractions (national parks, Ceide fields, Bellmullet). Would defineately recommend this property to my friends and family.

The property was beautiful, spacious and with 9 people staying there, it offered plenty of room and privacy for all.

The scenery was spectacular and the hosts very accommodating and helpful.

Maguire's Cottage is a very comfortable and spacious house.

We were a group of 6 adults and 4 children and it was perfect. Less than 10 minutes to Belmullet and great beaches, walks and things to see on the Erris Peninsula.

This is a beautiful cottage in a stunning location.

It had everything we needed and more during our stay. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming and only ever a phone call away. It really was a home from home in one of the most beautiful parts of the world.

Fresh scones and a cosy fire awaited us on arrival. Beautiful and comfortable house, furnished to a high standard, and offers all the facilities needed for a home away from home (even to cater for two kids!). Really enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone I know planning to stay in the area.
