Nestled in the peaceful townland of Ayle, near Cappawhite, County Tipperary lies this attractive barn conversion, The Artists Barn.

Boasting tasteful interiors with original features retained throughout, off-road parking and plenty of living spaces to host, cook and spend quality time with loved ones, The Artists Barn welcomes eight guests to relish a peaceful Irish retreat.

Cross the threshold into the property to be welcomed by a spacious, open-plan living area housing a fully equipped-kitchen with a range of high-quality appliances ideal for preparing tasty delicacies; settle down at the dining table to relish a feast as you toast to a fantastic getaway, ahead of curling up on the plush sofas and flicking through channels on the Smart TV.

Down the hallway, discover two immaculately presented double bedrooms, well-appointed with a blend of contemporary and rustic décor and one hosting its very own handy en-suite shower room; completing the ground-floor is a spacious bathroom where you can indulge in a long soak after a day of adventures.

Ascend the staircase to uncover two further bedrooms, a king-size with en-suite shower room and a twin, along with a tranquil snug where your little ones can delight in movie marathons on a sumptuous sofa.

When the weather permits, step outside to enjoy your meals alfresco on the outdoor furniture with a tipple of your choice.

Further afield, the bustling city of Cork awaits, where you can embark on a Cork Ghost Tour if you’re feeling brave or partake in more relaxing pastimes such as visiting the Crawford Art Gallery and The Butter Museum.

Be sure to spend a day in Limerick, set along the River Shannon where the 13th-century King John’s Castle is one of the city’s most recognisable sites, ahead of delighting in dinner and drinks in one of the spot’s numerous pubs, restaurants and bars.

Make this Irish getaway your own with a stay at The Artists Barn.

Showers need a better clean (particularly the shower traps) but otherwise the facilities were fine.

It was a bit remote for our liking but others will like that. It would be useful to have instructions to how to use the hob and it was very inconsistent. Well stocked with kitchen equipment.

It doesn’t get any better than this property!

We stayed a total of 10 days in this beautiful home. We had 7 guest total and didn’t once feel like we were cramped for individual space. The uniqueness and charm of the hike is unmatched. Location location location! The home is a central hub for our day trips to Galway, Doolin, Limerick and Kilkenny. The home has everything you need and more. Our family thanks you for letting us borrow your beautiful home, even if for a short time! Your rental was the focal point of our trip and made all our adventures possible!
