I love staying at Orchard Barn.

The cottage has been sensitively restored with great attention to detail in every respect including how it's furnished. The kitchen is very complete with all the mod cons and the central heating is very effective. The setting for the cottage is idyllic and very quiet, even though quite close to Wexford town, with lots of options for walks in the forestry to the rear of the cottage. Mary and Hugh were lovely hosts and most welcoming. I was delighted with the whole experience and will surely be back...

Great holiday stay close to Wexford.

We had a really great holiday stay at this fantastic location. The owners and their family were lovely - very friendly and welcoming. Kitchen had pretty much everything we needed for cooking - good selection of pots, pans, utensils, etc and the beds were genuinely comfortable. The property was very clean and well maintained. What we really loved was the location. It's properly rural, so nice and quiet, but only about 10-15 minutes drive into town when you need shops bars, or restaurants and equally close to the beautiful Rosslare Strand beach, Wexford Racecourse and the 3 Rocks Walking Trail. There's also direct access to some lovely woodlands from the property which was brilliant for morning walks and fresh apples from the Orchard belonging to the owners. Overall we really enjoyed it and would definitely planning to stay again - highly recommended!

Our stay at The Old Orchard Barn in Wexford, Ireland, was nothing short of delightful.

The warmth and hospitality of our host truly stood out, as they graciously checked in with us multiple times throughout our stay. Their genuine interest in getting to know our family made us feel right at home. Our two boys, fascinated by hurling, had the wonderful opportunity to learn a few tricks from our host, who kindly taught them a few tricks. Additionally, our daughter was thrilled to meet the farm’s adorable litter of kittens, creating cherished memories for her. Thank you again! The home itself was pristine, accurately depicted in the photos, and everything was in perfect working order. It provided a comfortable and cozy environment for our family to relax and enjoy the serene surroundings. Thanks to our host’s excellent recommendation, we visited Jamestown Castle nearby, which turned out to be a highlight of our trip. A small note for future guests: the property can be a bit tricky to locate. We initially drove down the wrong driveway upon our evening arrival. To avoid any confusion, we suggest staying in close contact with the host for explicit directions as you approach the property. Overall, our experience was exceptional, and we wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking a stay in Wexford.
