Shore Road

We had a lovely week at Shore Road, Pauline was lovely, and the welcome pack was super.

Location is superb, especially for nature lovers, the estuary opposite the house has all kinds of bird life. The beds are super comfy, the only let down is the shower which has very little water pressure. We'd definitely recommend Shore Road for a holiday.

This is a lovely holiday cottage in an ideal location within a few minutes walk of the beautiful long beach at Culdaf.

Pauline is an excellent and thoughtful host, she had lit the fire for our late night arrival and left a lovely welcome basket with bread, milk, butter etc. The cottage is very clean, warm and extremely comfortable, and has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. There are one or two very minor areas of redecoration required but nothing at all to spoil your stay. We had glorious weather and a super holiday in Donegal.

Everything you could need. Lovely holiday home within walking distance to the village and beautiful Culdaff beach. Lots to see on Inishowen within easy driving. Lucky to take the Lough Foyle ferry on its last day of summer running. Great upstairs lounge area. Pauline made sure we were ok with lanterns and candles when Storm Amy hit and would like to thank her for the warm welcome and basket of goodies.

Pauline provided a basket of essentials which was very handy. House had everything you could need for your stay. Our infant son loved the upstairs for space to walk around. TV’s in all rooms. Great base for travelling about. Very close to the beach.

Really lovely property in a really lovely spot.

The beach is walkable but also has a carpark if you want to drive to it. The kitchen is very well stocked, it has absolutely everything you could possibly need, even an air fryer. The upstairs snug is delightfully cosy for snuggling up after a day exploring the beautiful Inishowen peninsula. The cottage is right next door to the owner, Pauline's, house and she is very welcoming and accommodating, providing a basket of groceries including bread, butter milk, teabags. Highly recommend

Were just back from a wonderful stay at Shore Road cottage and we had a wonderful time.

The cottage was so lovely, it was spotlessly clean and in a wonderful location within walking distance to shop, pubs, restaurant and a stunning beach. Pauline was the most wonderful host, so kind, she provided us with a very generous welcome pack , bread, tea, coffee, milk, butter biscuits ect and she was always on hand if we needed her for anything. Thank you Pauline for a wonderful week and I hope to return in the future and will recommend to family and friends.

Great accommodation for exploring the Inishowen peninsula and beyond.

Pauline was a very helpful host and the welcome pack was very kind. The village and beach are walkable. Lovely estuary and beach walk in the morning as the coffee stall at the beach serves great coffee. Memorable moments: Doagh Famine village and the beach across the road. The Lough Foyle ferry crossing as a short cut to the Giants Causeway and the dolphins providing a great display at no additional charge! Overall, a great home and just what we needed after a hectic lively week. Would highly recommend.

We had a fantastic week in this lovely clean comfortable cottage.

Pauline was very friendly and welcoming and we really appreciated the box of groceries she provided. The location is great, just a ten minute walk to the back strand of the beautiful long sandy Culdaff beach. Our two border collies had a wonderful time, we enjoyed exploring all the beaches on the Inishowen peninsula. We visited the lovely city of Derry and also travelled on the ferry from Greencastle to Magilligan Point in Northern Ireland, we went to the lovely seaside towns Portstewart and Portrush. We thoroughly enjoyed our week in this beautiful part of Ireland and would highly recommend a stay in Shore cottage

We had a fantastic holiday, going for lots of walks on many of the surrounding beeches, which are stunning.

Pauline was very friendly and it was lovely to have a few bits there on our arrival. The cottage was clean and comfortable and in a wondeful location.

We were thankful for the welcome pack as we arrived in the evening after a long journey. The house worked well for us and we particularly liked the comfort of the upstairs space. It was lovely and clean but it did feel a bit tired in places - for example, the radiator in the kitchen is very rusty, the window in the kitchen by the sofa looks like it needs finishing off, there is a broken blind behind the sofa upstairs and there were various lightbulbs missing. Also, the dishwasher didn't clean particular well and we did try various settings. It feels like the filter needs a good clean. The location was lovely - we spent a lot of time walking on the beach and swimming in the sea. McCrorys was also a lovely pub and restaurant. Overall, a lovely week in a lovely part of Ireland.

My wife, Therese and I had a very enjoyable week at Shore Road house.

It was so convenient to all local amenities, beaches, shops bars etc. The house was really clean, comfortable and had all things we needed. Our host, Pauline, could not not have been more friendly and helpful, She even left a box of groceries for us to start us off on a very enjoyable week. Also, we had a little dog with us and he really enjoyed hie early morning walks on the local beaches.

Pauline was very kind and accomodating and looked after us really well. The beautiful beach was close by and the Hotel a five minute walk away. Food in the Hotel was fabulous and lots to see and do in the area. Overall we would highly recommend this holiday stay to anyone plus we had the added bonus of being able to take our dog with us.

What a lovely, cosy cottage this is.

It was absolutely spotless, everything you could want for is there. Pauline was simply wonderful, just a text message (or phonecall) away. We very much appreciated the basket with supplies waiting for us on arrival. The beach is only a twenty minute walk from the house, which is where you can find a fantastic playground. Many breathtaking views to be seen nearby. Malin head, Glenveagh National Park, Grianan of Aileach to name a few. Doagh Famine village is worth a visit as well. We had a blast exploring County Donegal. If you want tranquillity without being too far from amenities, be sure to book this cottage!

We had a very pleasant stay at Shore Road culdaff.

The cottage was well equipped clean and catered for all our needs. Pauline was a great host and nothing was too much trouble for her. I would recommend this cottage as it's close to culdaff itself and within walking distance to a lovely beach and as a base for seeing more of the surrounding area.

Our family had a wonderful week away in December to celebrate my birthday & to catch a glimps of the northern lights (we missed them by 1 night) We had a great restful week in this cozy cottage.

Pauline is a wonderful host at the end of the phone if you need anything at all but not one bit imposing. We had everything we needed as Pauline left a welcome pack for us and even a treat for the children which we really did appreciate after the long drive up from Country Kerry! Everything you need is within walking distance and supermarkets are just a short drive. The restaurant in the hotel is a must! I had tge best chowder ever there. The beach is beautiful as is the walk to it. We will definitely be back!!
