The host Laura was so friendly and welcoming ,and provided us with lots of local info.

The house was spotless on arrival with everything we needed, and the beds were so comfy. Great view from the house and so much to do in the surrounding area. I would definitely recommend this property and would happily stay here again

Not long home from Cushranny, everything about the accommodation was first class, the facilities were pristine a credit to the owners, we met with Laura who gave us great local information and a few welcome treats, without doubt we would love to return, the weather wasn't the best but hey with the views and everything at hand it was a pleasure to enjoy Cushranny.

Cushranny is a fabulous house in a great location for exploring Co Mayo.

The house is lovely, great furnishings comfy sofa & beds. Views of the sea and shop & pubs close by. Laura was a fabulous host, we couldn’t fault anything. We had everything you needed to cook evening meals, and it was lovely & warm. There is loads of of space. We had a brilliant time exploring the area and coming back to such a great home for the week.

We travelled as a family of four with a 2 year old- for us Cushranny was perfect.

We have stayed elsewhere locally and this is the best we have found. Loads of living space so we could spread out. A very equipped kitchen which made cooking at home very easy. Very large and comfortable beds. It's a warm property with beautiful views over the Bay and only a short 2 minutes walk to shops, restaurants and pubs. It also has easy access via car to local beaches. Laura was an excellent host and nothing was too much trouble. The welcome pack of tea, coffee, wine for us and sweets for the kids was lovely addition too.

The house was equipped with everything we needed & had fabulous views. The location was perfect with shop & restaurants just minutes away. Great base for touring, hiking or walking. Laura the host, was very helpful and informative. Would recommend.

We spent a week at Cushranny Holiday Home and had an absolutely brilliant stay.

The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the local village. Our children especially loved cycling along the nearby bike lane to the shop each day, which felt very safe and added to the fun of the trip. The house itself is spacious and beautifully situated, with stunning views. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with everything you could need, and the living room—with its large plasma screen and comfortable seating—was perfect for relaxing in the evenings. All three bedrooms were lovely and comfortable, with one featuring a convenient ensuite bathroom. Laura, our host, was absolutely fantastic. We were greeted with such a warm welcome, including a thoughtful gift of wine, chocolates, and crisps—such a lovely touch! I would highly recommend Cushranny Holiday Home. It’s easily one of the best holiday homes we’ve ever stayed in, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.

Beautiful home with a view right across Clew Bay and Croaghaun Patrick.

Able to sit and enjoy this view from breakfast table in the well appointed kitchen. Extremely comfortable bed, spacious bungalow beautifully kept and maintained. 2minute dander to the convenience store and pub and restaurant. Less than 30minute gentle drive to Achill island. Would love to return and enjoy another relaxing holiday.

Mulranny as a centre for exploring County Mayo and beyond was an ideal location with lovely bay,supermarket,petrol station and restaurants all close at hand.

Cushranny itself was diappointing despite the owner Laura’s best efforts to make us welcome.The description and photo of the location of the property do not make it clear that it has two very close neighbours and we felt like we were living in a goldfish bowl. The standard of cleanliness, particularly in the kitchen, was not good. A filthy cloth left in sink and crockery,glasses and pans not clean …..probably not helped by there being no clean dish clothes or tea towels.We had an issue with no hot water and to be fair to Laura she was very apologetic and helped us sort the problem promptly. Sadly our overall experience was not what we expected from a holiday home with 5 star reviews.

We had an amazing stay at Cushranny.

The house itself was gorgeous, with bright, spacious rooms. Very comfortable beds, and a kitchen that has everything you will need during your stay. The cinema room offers stunning views and was perfect for rainy days too !! The location is excellent with a 5 minute walk into the beautiful village of Mulranny.

This was a fantastic holiday home.

We stayed there just the two of us, so it already felt very luxurious. Everything you could possibly need is provided, and you really feel welcome. We experienced all seasons during our stay, so it was especially nice to have a small cinema in the house for rainy days. It’s a perfect base for day trips, hiking, drives, and even, as we did, going to concerts. The house is very private, and the owner is easily reachable by phone.

What a delightful and well furnished property, there is a grand view of Clew bay from the main rooms, the beds were very comfortable and the furniture also, Laura was very helpful and set us up with a welcome pack.

We love Ireland and Mayo in particular and we will be back as we really enjoy sightseeing, this is a luxury base to have just a short walk from the amenities and we thoroughly recommend it.

There is a house directly in front of this property that blocks some views and also a small residential building in the back garden. Overall this is a fantastic place with a fantastic 5* host.
