We were very happy with the flat, which was clean, modern, spacious, and ideally situated for the shops and harbour at Ballycastle.

A really lovely spacious, fresh and stylishly decorated apartment.

Location is excellent - between the beach and the village centre so everything was so convenient. We appreciated the comfortable beds with high quality bed linen. Everything we needed in kitchen and lounge/dining area was large and comfortable. We didn’t have a car but found getting buses everywhere was just perfect. Would recommend Carrick-a-rede bridge then walk to White Park Bay. Stunning! However, we were blessed with a heatwave for the whole of our stay. Locals are extremely kind and helpful. Ballycastle is such a lovely place. Great range of eateries. Don’t miss Ursa Minor bakery and cafe. Best ever sourdough breads, cheese scones and cakes.

First the positives: The property itself is excellent, with great appliances and everything that you need.

Parking is especially good and location in Ballycastle is excellent. The town itself is lovely and a perfect base for exploring Antrim. Small negatives: There were no instructions/guides in the house. We needed to know to turn on the hot water before attempting to have a shower, and there were no instructions for appliances etc. The front door was complicated to open and we needed to enter a long code every time (there was no key). There was no step free access (needed for disabled guests). The bathrooms are too small. The small bedroom is very small and only really suited to 2 children. The welcome hamper would have been better if it included essentials for a first meal (when we arrived the supermarkets were closed). But these are all minor issues. Overall we would have rated the properly 4 stars (not the 5 stars given by Sykes), however there was a huge negative on the time that we stayed. Do not stay in this property over the August bank holiday under any circumstances!!! The Auld Lammas Fair means that ALL of the streets are closed in Ballycastle and this property is exactly in the centre of the fair! We could use our car for 2 whole days as the drive was blocked by traders, so the disruption was far worse that we had been led to believe and rather spoiled our stay. The funfair opposite was very loud until 11pm for 3 nights! We would stay again, but not at the end of August!!!

Beautiful home for us to be based at to explore Ballycastle.

Was lovely for the kids and comfy and relaxing for the adults. Bunk beds were a big hit. Had all we needed for us to easily stay and make food in the kitchen. Will Def be back

We were a party of four adults and a 4-year-old.

Our beds were lovely and comfy and our grandson loved the bunkbed, a first for him, sleeping on top. The apartment is well-maintained, spacious and well equipped and very well placed between the harbour and the town centre. There is no shortage of shops and good places to eat within walking distance, much better than at home! Our grandson also loved having a playground directly opposite, but down the hillside, so no noise problems for us. We spent much time, glass in hand, looking out of the front window onto Knocklayd mountain, sometimes bathed in evening sunlight, sometimes rendered invisible by low cloud. Missing it already!

Beachcomber- This property was perfect for our holiday with all the comfort that we have at our own home coupled with fantastic views and perfect location.

We will most certainly visit again! A Big Thank you to the landlords for making this lovely property available for holiday rentals.

Very comfortable and very beautifully furnished apartment, superb style and quality.

Its position from the sea front and the shops was just perfect, especially for our 87 year old dad who loved his morning walks down to the harbour or along the beach! We had a fantastic week, thank you.

The house was lovely and clean, and very well fitted out.

It is well presented and spacious. It is a great location to access the Causeway Coastal route and the beautiful countryside around Ballycastle.

The apartment was beautiful, furnished to a very high standard, and immaculately clean. The beds were so comfortable. The location was perfect for the beach,and tennis, and the kids enjoyed the playpark and football pitches on the doorstep. The owner was so plesant to deal with before our stay, and my couple of minor queries were answered within minutes on a Saturday evening….hoping to come back again next year, Thank you so much for a perfect break⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great base for our time in Northern Ireland.

Lovely property, clean, well presented and everything you could possibly need is provided. The washing machine and tumble dryer were really useful as we were with our 8 month old daughter. Family friendly, close to the seafront and shops / pubs a short walk away. We’d definitely stay again if we were back in the area.
