If you fancy some time with your favourite book, the separate sunroom is the perfect place to go and also benefits from French doors which lead out to the front garden. Guests will find a sheltered, pretty lawned area from the front of this cottage near Enniscorthy which is ideal for soaking up the sun. There is also a gravelled area with furniture where guests can sit and plan the next day's schedule. Enniscorthy is the second largest town in County Wexford and is known for its picturesque surroundings, many festivals and its friendly atmosphere. There are many attractions and activities to keep everyone busy, for example, fishing, golfing, horse riding and there are many walks available, ideal for taking in all of the beautiful scenery. The Enniscorthy farmers' market is a fabulous place for picking up local ingredients for putting in your traditional dishes back at your cottage. The Enniscorthy Castle, dating back to the 12th century, is also a fascinating place to visit. County Wexford's coastline is fantastic, with seaside towns offering tasty eateries, friendly pubs and superb scenery and wonderful sandy beaches scattered along the way. Kilmore Quay is a tiny fishing village that is well-worth visiting and St Helens also has a wonderful beach that is definitely worth the trip. This Enniscorthy cottage is a wonderful holiday base and the surrounding area has something to offer everyone.
