We absolutely loved our stay in Cloughoge House.
We had 7 adults and 3 children and there was more than enough space for everyone. The house was comfortable, well equipped and in a fantastic location, only a 5 minute walk to Cappagh Pier and 5 minute drive to Kilrush town. The garden was beautiful and spacious, with a lovely sea view. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this house to anybody who is looking for a relaxing holiday.
We went here as a fairly large family, it's a very nice house plentyofroomand great gardens the grandchildren loved it.
We were also blessed with super hot weather. No real complaints a couple of niggles perhaps the ground floor room where I stayed was good but there was no hanging space for clothes but plenty of drawers which did the job the shower in the room was good only thing nowhere to put anything eg: a hook for a towel would help and a few shelves for accessories maybe a handrail in the shower as most staying downstairs will probably be elderly. Butties are just niggles overall a good property and I could highly recommend it. I would definitely go back. It's a lovely area and nothing to far away.
The house was fabulous, everything provided for in abundance and plenty of extras in various places too.
Beds very comfortable and bathroom facilities superb, and as for the space; you could comfortably fit a herd of wild children or an entire marching band and all of their equipment as well! Easy walking distance to town also, even for me. Kilrush locals very helpful with advice on places to visit off the beaten path and always friendly. Huge thanks to Sarah and Sean whose parting email I hadn't seen until later so a couple of things were left undone, apologies. I would highly recommend this wonderful house and location also, and my small people are in agreement ...
