    “Had a lovely week in this house.”

    Very comfortable house with everything we needed. I saw something about traffic noise before going to the house, we slept in the front room on the road side and I must say didn't notice any noise, slept really well. Spanish point beach is just down the road and so many lovely walks only a short drive away. Had a couple of questions when we were there and Mary was very quick to answer and very friendly. Would highly recommend this place and would love to go back if we were up that way again.

The Blue Flag sandy beach at Spanish Point is only a short walk away, so you can enjoy long sunny days at the beach right from the doorstep of this Clare cottage, and with the N67 coastal road running right by the door, you can enjoy easy access to great days out and beautiful scenery, either in the car, walking or cycling.

There are pretty beaches, rugged coastline and lovely walks to be enjoyed right from the doorstep of this Clare cottage, and with so much to see and do, you'll find one stay simply won't be enough!

About the location

MILTOWN MALBAY, COUNTY CLARE

Spanish Point 2 miles; Lahinch 8 miles; Kilkee 21 miles.

The pretty town of Miltown Malbay is located close to the Atlantic coast in County Clare, and is only an hour from Shannon Airport. Famed for its traditional Irish music, it is home to the Willie Clancy music festival, which is held in July, however visitors will find fabulous live music in many pubs and bars whatever the time of year. Miltown Malbay is close to some excellent beach resorts, including Lahinch, Spanish Point and Doonbeg, all of which are well worth a visit for their relaxed vibe and great surf, not to mention their excellent golf courses. The Burren National Park to the north of the town is a mecca for walkers and nature lovers with its unique geological landscapes and rich colourful wildflowers. Also to the north you will find the striking Cliffs of Moher, which rise majestically out of the ocean and are best appreciated from one of many boat trips departing nearby.
