“We had a brilliant time at this cottage.”

The cottage is clean, warm, has comfy beds, welcoming and everything you would need and more. The location is ideal with 1km walk to either the beach (which is stunning) or the village with plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs with music. The owner was very helpful and had everything ready for us with welcoming tea, coffee, milk, etc, etc. There are stunning views from the cottage and ample room to play and park cars around it. Really pleased with our stay and would definitely recommend 100% ...

About the location

MILTOWN MALBAY, COUNTY CLARE

Spanish Point 2 miles; Lahinch 8 miles; Kilkee 21 miles.

The pretty town of Miltown Malbay is located close to the Atlantic coast in County Clare, and is only an hour from Shannon Airport. Famed for its traditional Irish music, it is home to the Willie Clancy music festival, which is held in July, however visitors will find fabulous live music in many pubs and bars whatever the time of year. Miltown Malbay is close to some excellent beach resorts, including Lahinch, Spanish Point and Doonbeg, all of which are well worth a visit for their relaxed vibe and great surf, not to mention their excellent golf courses. The Burren National Park to the north of the town is a mecca for walkers and nature lovers with its unique geological landscapes and rich colourful wildflowers. Also to the north you will find the striking Cliffs of Moher, which rise majestically out of the ocean and are best appreciated from one of many boat trips departing nearby.
