Coneyville

We stayed at this property for a week at the end of April 2026 and were extremely happy.

The property has everything you need and is in a lovely location. The Magnet bar, which has a dog friendly area, is an easy walk away and is very friendly and serves great food and drinks. The house has a lovely sunny back garden and is fully enclosed and great if you have kids or a dog with you or to simply sit out with a refreshment. Highly recommeded.

Well situated and kept property excellent amenities and very clean.

Good wifi in all areas. Would most definitely stay again

A lovely comfortable cottage in a great location, easy to travel into Derry and explore the surrounding area.

The cottage has everything you could possibly need and feels very spacious. The enclosed garden was great for our dog, would highly recommend.

We have used many pet friendly cottage’s over the past years and this was by far the best.

Very clean indeed

A spacious property that met our needs for the week.

The accommodation could be improved with cotton bedding and towels. The kettle is very old and worn, slow to boil, and needs to be replaced.

We loved staying in this home.

A beautiful get away that far exceeded my expectations. The hosts were great, friendly and very communicative when needed. Having a garden which my dog could run free with no supervision was blissful for her and us. I would highly recommend this to anyone and I am hoping to rebook again in future.

Poor property for 960 pounds.

grass uncut showers unusable. Very poor for the such an Exorbitant sum of money Disappointing is An understatement.

Second visit fantastic location close to Derry and Donegal ,lovely nature reserve walk locally.

Owners are very friendly and welcome pack . Garden enclosed for a dog .

A lovely clean,warm comfortable bungalow.

Good enclosed back garden for our dog. A bottle of wine, milk, biscuits, tea and coffee were there in a welcome pack... very much appreciated. A really good base to tour Donegal and the North coast. A bus stop just a few yards down the road (1a) every hour into L/derry. A lovely country park 1/2 mile up the road . All in all a really nice house and one which we would highly recommend.

Amazing house, beautiful, comfortable - we were like at home.

Culmore Point is beautiful, and Derry is not far. No parking problem. Quiet cul de sac.

Great stay cottage was great enclosed garden for the dog and a country park just 5 minutes away couldn’t fault the stay and a bottle of wine for when we arrived

This is a lovely bungalow very sizeable ,and in a quiet area ,it is very central to both Derry and Donegal , fabulous beaches ,and a nature walk just down the road , ideal for dog walking .

The owners are attentive to the small details and welcome bag really was not expected ,so useful. We had a lovely week there .The garden is. A perfect size too , fully enclosed. The chairs are pretty low if you have mobility issues ,however it’s not a negative. We are returning next year .

The accomodation was comfortable and you had all your needs thoughtfully provided for .

Location was interesting near loch foyle chance to see cruise ships. Also near country park on loch foyle.Shops near and 6mins into Derry and close to Moville for lovely seaside walks.Quick access to beautiful Donegal.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Coneyville.

Highly recommend it.

Very good stay again this house is excellent everything about it very clean well equipped nice big TV great location nice quiet area and not to far from the city and only 4 miles to muff plenty of bars you won't find a nicer house than this this is a true review about this property we have booked again for September

A very comfortable house well located for exploring Derry, Donegal & surrounding areas.

Only one problem the TV is way to small for the size of the room apart from that everything was perfect

Excellent - all facilities as described.

Location perfect for touring and dining out in the evening on both sides of the invisible border.

We had a great stay at coneyville and the house was very well equipped.

It was ideal as a base for us whilst supporting our boys in the Foyle Cup. Honestly the house is quite dated and could maybe do with a lick of paint and a little modernisation. However it was great for what we needed it for.

Home from home great welcome pack everything and more in the cottage that you need cottage was very clean and in a nice quiet area going back in September for our third visit only 1 little thing the cottage could do with a bigger TV its to small for the size of the room I think it's only32ins apart from that the cottage Is perfect

Lovely stay after so long away with the family, would recommend again

The place is in a good location for Derry city centre and Donegal

Lovely welcome pack on arrival.

Spotless accommodation and nice touches. Will definitely book again when next over visiting family.

A few things missing such as a washing line , cheese grater and toaster has a mind of its own.

Could not work out the central heating but at this time of year that was no big deal generally very good, nice clean house with all we needed.

Mellissa and Michael very friendly.

Welcome pack very welcoming and nice surprise. Area beautiful. Cottage far better than we expected. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend to friends traveling to Ireland. Very dog and family friendly

Nice comfortable house in good area for exploring Ireland.

Spoilt for choice of restaurants in area. Welcome pack was a nice surprise, very thoughtful.

Lovely house, great location for us.

Comfy and had everything we needed. Also great that we could bring the dog.

The bungalow was very clean, homely and welcoming.

Would definitely visit again.
