What guests are saying
Superb in every respect
What can we say it was perfect, the host could not have done more.
We had everything we needed from comfortable beds to excellent facilities needed for a self catering holiday. One of the best self catering properties we have ever stayed.
So glad you enjoyed.
Absolutely perfect.
Exceptional comfort and cleanliness. Equipped to the highest standard. Friendly and welcoming hosts. Cannot recommend highly enough. Would definitely visit again. 10/10 on all counts.
So glad you enjoyed your stay. Would love to see you again.
Five star holiday accommodation!
Beautiful location. Secluded, yet close to all amazing attractions. The cottage is so lovely, and so well equipt! Private little path down to the river. Log burner in the lounge. Everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. Lovely bedrooms and bathroom. Property owner lives next door and offers a warm welcome, and always happy to give information and advice on where to visit. We had a fantastic holiday, and will definitely be back next year!
Glad you enjoyed your stay
This is a fantastic cottage with outstanding facilities!
We were able to take my Dad to see our relatives, and the areas he loves. The garden is beautiful. I hope we can come again with Dad again. Thank you very much for making this cottage such a wonderful home.
Glad you enjoyed.
Cottage set in lovely garden managed by the owner and all amenities with a summer house as well Only slight concern if there were 6 people the lounge/dining room/kitchen would be a bit small Summer house great addition if the party had kids
We had an excellent stay and the cottage has everything that you could ever need.
Will definitely return.
Was a beautiful and very spacious cottage, me my fiancé and dog just loved it, our dog had a brilliant time loved the little garden you can use out the back and the garden sun shed we sat in outside.
Was very handy to go places we went to the mussendean temple and it was so breath taking we loved it as did the dog. Highly reccomend it and the ice house restaurant in portstewart. I’d reccommend the cottage as it’s a great place to get a nice get away. Will visit again in the future for sure.
This was a return visit (there previously in Autumn 2021) - that says it all!
And we are fairly sure we will return again in the future!
We, 5 adults and a dog, had a wonderful week in the "Quiet Waters Cottage".
The house and the entire complex are very well maintained and very clean, the facilities leave nothing to be desired. Bill, the house owner, lives right next door and is very friendly and helpful. We can highly recommend "Quiet Waters Cottage"!
Glad you enjoyed your stay.
Lovely cottage, great location for easy access to surrounding towns
Quiet Waters Cottage was a peaceful haven for our stay.
It provided comfortable accommodation which was spotlessly clean. The bathrooms and the kitchen are modern. All the essentials and more were provided. The seating in the living room might prove a bit cramped for 6 adults but there are plenty of outside seating options and additional space in the summer house to make up for this. The garden was a real bonus. The location of the property is excellent for exploring the Causeway Coast as well as for trips to Belfast, Londonderry and Lough Neagh.
Fantastic cottage in a beautiful setting, and fully equipped with everything you could need.
Decorated to an extremely high standard and very clean. Highly recommended!
So glad you enjoyed your stay.
We stayed at Quiet Waters Cottage for 1week at the end of July.
There were 3 Adults, 1child and our 2 dogs. It was perfect! Exactly as described, spotlessly clean, loads of space and excellent facilities. The cottage literally has everything you need and is dog friendly. The communication from Bill the owner was excellent prior to arrival. The weather wasn’t great so we couldn’t make use of the BBQ, fire pit and beautiful garden but that didn’t ruin our stay. Its location was perfect for exploring the north coast and all its beauty as well as reliving some childhood adventures. Barry’s is now Curry’s but the ghost train is exactly the same
So glad you enjoyed your stay
Excellent home.
Brilliant facilities. It was a fantastic place to stay.
So pleased you enjoyed your stay.
Fantastic cottage and gardens.
Great central point for touring around Northern Ireland. The Owner couldn’t do enough to make your stay so comfortable and welcome.
Thanks. Glad you all had a good time.
High standard and welcoming host.
Good location for visiting coast and other attractions. Near Mount Sandel which was good for walking the dog.
What a delightful cottage in a great location for the sights of Northern Ireland!
Everything you could need was provided even a first aid kit (thankfully we didn't need this) and a sewing kit (had to use it). Thanks for a perfect week!
The most comfortable cottage in the loveliest of settings .
Everything you need for a lovely holiday is in this cottage , beautiful gardens and a gentleman of a host . Thank you Bill hope to return sometime soon .
A beautiful holiday cottage.
Four of us stayed for 2 weeks and couldn’t have been more comfortable. The cottage was well equipped and we loved the extra accommodation of the summerhouse and bbq area. Beautiful garden space too! Well done Bill and Anne, give yourselves a well earned pat on the back! The cottage is so conveniently positioned for the beautiful sights of Northern Ireland. The causeway coast is breathtaking. Titanic Experience in Belfast was amazing as was the hop on hop off open bus top tour of Belfast which was very informative and poignant. Irish bars were very atmospheric and the Irish are such friendly people. Many thanks for a wonderful stay and welcome!
An excellent break and cottage worthy of its 5 stars.
A fantastic welcome pack (unexpected). Hosts couldn’t have been more helpful without being at all intrusive. 2 miles out of Coleraine so we got a taxi to the rail station and visited Derry - Londonderry. Lovely train journey through beautiful scenery. An ideal base for so many points of interest. We couldn’t have been more comfortable and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Cottage to anyone.
We had the most relaxing time and the property was very clean.
It had everything we needed and we loved the log burner at night time. We wouldn't hesitate to book again. Good central location for us wanting to spend time at the various beaches and Giant's Causeway.
An excellent property, fully deserving its five-star rating.
We particularly enjoyed the wood-burning stove, for which Bill had thoughtfully provided a plentiful supply of fuel. We will certainly return.
We are so pleased you enjoyed you stay and look forward to seeing you again.
This cottage is just amazing!
We have never stayed in a better equipped holiday cottage, and also the owners could not have been more obliging. We loved the use of the gardens, Summerhouse, track to the river etc. Will definitely come again some time in the future
The photos you use of the cottage really don’t do the cottage justice it was such a relaxing place and everything was first class Bill and Ann were so lovely we will def be back!
!
This lovely house is in an excellent location for exploring the North Coast of Northern Ireland.
Lovely surroundings, great facilities, very pet friendly our dogs loved it as much as we did
Excellent cottage very well appointed.
Only thing missing was a fish slice! Very welcoming hosts.
Quiet Waters Cottage was everything and more that one could ever wish for as far as self catering is concerned.
Thanks to our hosts Bill and Anne for providing us with this amazing cottage. Totally relaxing from the moment we arrived! Beautiful gardens and a lot of thought was put into the outdoor surroundings to make it feel a truely relaxing experience. Ideally situated and central to All of the North Coast and Donegal. A "Perfect" holiday let. Thankyou Bill and Anne

Superb property.
Well described.
Had a great holiday, very welcoming host, the cottage is very spacious, good size bedrooms, great kitchen and living area, plenty of room for everyone, the outside cabin with decking and barbeque area a bonus, great for an evening sitting out with family and relaxing.
Very central location to all attractions along north coast, just a few miles to beautiful beaches and coastline, dog friendly.
Took my family wife two children and my mother for a short break.
This was a very relaxing time the cottage was a pleasure to stay in and packed with everything you could need. The owners made us very welcome and even had the stove lit for us on arrival we definitely be back again.
Quiet Waters Cottage is an exceptional place to stay .
either for a quiet holiday or as a base for exploring the beautiful North Coast and surrounding area. Whatever I write does not do justice to Quiet Waters. Everything that is required are provided . We could not find fault anywhere. Exceptionally clean. Logs and peat provided for log burner, Ample off road parking . Great outside seating area etc. Ann and Bill are very welcoming and so helpful. We will certainly be back later on in year. Can’t wait to see garden in full bloom .
Well equipped, and spacious, lovely surroundings, a few miles outside of town makes it a great location.
Bill and Anne were great, would go back next year.
