When it's time to rest, the property offers flexible sleeping arrangements with a choice of ground-floor double and single bedrooms, or head upstairs to find another double with its own en-suite, as well as an additional single room.
In the morning, refresh yourself with a soak in the ground-floor bath or a brisk shower to prepare for a day of adventure.
Local shops and pubs are just a short drive away for essentials or a meal out.

This was our 3rd stay at Shane's cottage.
We love the area and the house suited our needs. We travel everywhere on holidays with 2 dogs therefore an easy clean as the floors are suitable. The only difficulty we had was in booking ..we wanted to stay 2 weeks but had to book them separately. Also we could only indicate 1 dog no facility the indicate 2 But we would return again
Beautiful well presented cottage tucked away in the rural quiet countryside.
Close drive to Falcarragh in one direction and Dunfanaghy in the other. Both providing good eateries , beaches and waterspouts for the kids. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would come back again.
Shane’s Cottage is a lovely, peaceful base from which to explore beautiful Donegal.
The kitchen/living space is comfortable and homely and the rural views all round are lovely. We would have liked the option of outdoor drying for washing but there is a washer/dryer available. It is quite remote but future guests can be assured that using the Eircode with Google Maps takes you straight to the front door. The wood burning stove was great but is quite large and hungry so it could be worth picking up a bag of logs on the way to the property if you are arriving in poor weather. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
