What guests are saying
Fabulous house in a magnificent setting.
Everything you could want from a self catering accommodation. When the weather outside was not very kind the house was a warm comfortable retreat. Ideally place for sight seeing to the North and South of Donegal.
Back a few weeks now from a week at Moorhen house with my family sister and brother Inlaw son and grandchildren and niece had a lovely peaceful stay it’s so relaxing, plenty of room for the chefs in our family to cook away till there hearts content .
Visited Mary of Dungloe festival very lively music and dancing on the streets. Also carrifinn beach is beautiful not to far in the car.The house was spotless and Teresa the host called by was very helpful a really nice week in all. Patricia.
We are just back from a stay at Moorhen house.
4 adults, 3 children and 2 small dogs. The house blew us away! Spacious, very clean and beautifully decorated inside and out. The view is stunning. Host Teresa is very friendly, she called and introduced herself and was able to tell us the best places to eat and visit ect. We visited Bunbeg beach and the kids loved seeing the shipwreck - this was only a short drive away. We also visited Dungloe Town which isn’t far. Plenty to do and see around you. Our only regret is that we didn’t book for longer! We will 100% be back.
