Millers Lane House

We had an amazing stay at Millers Lane House.

The house is beautiful and incredibly homely with spectacular views over Lough Foyle. The owners couldnt be more friendly and welcoming, providing great recommendations and tips! The house is perfectly located for being able to explore Ireland with gorgeous beaches, restaurants and family friendly attractions, such as, Wild Ireland and True North Boat Tours within 30mins drive. We honestly had the best week and will 100% be booking again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We had an absolutely brilliant stay at Millers Lane House, all 10 of us!

Best accommodation yet on our visits to Ireland. Great welcome from owner and really made to feel at home, with everything thought of for comfort and convenience. Great location too for trips to other towns. Would highly recommend!

Had a fantastic stay at Millars Lane House for a couple of nights with 5 adults and 5 children.

Plenty of room for everyone and the house was very clean and comfortable with large, well furnished bedrooms and a well equipped kitchen. Owners were very lovely and made us feel very welcome. Would love to come back for a longer stay. Highly recommend for any family and larger groups

What a lovely house, fantastic location, great hosts, just perfect for our whole family ranging from 10 -80.

We had another great time at Millers Lane and the weather was kind until Storm Amy arrived!

But all was well. Being back from any road and with wonderful views it is a great base for exploring the Inishowen peninsular and beyond, and very comfortable.

Coming from England, Ireland and Crete. The Property had everything and more to offer. Caroline & John were exceptional hosts whereby nothing was too much trouble. Thank you & hopefully to return one day

We loved this house, the number of bathrooms, bedrooms and the kitchen.

Property was beautiful with a stunning view.

We had 6 people and a dog there and had plenty of space to sit inside or outside by the BBQ. Loads of space for cooking and all utensils available there. The owners were lovely and available for any questions we had. Will definitely visit again!

The house and location with views out to sea are beautiful.

This was the perfect space to host a family holiday. Plenty of room inside and out for the kids to play and run around. Great house to play hide and seek in whilst waiting for the rain to pass! Met one of the owners on the first day, who was so friendly and helpful. Thank you for letting us stay in your amazing house!

We absolutely loved our stay at Millers Lane House, & Caroline & John were helpful & welcoming hosts.

We were 3 couples, so the space & facilities were excellent. The layout of the house is great with amazing views from the lounge & main bedroom, everywhere else bright & airy. The location is amazing, with all the facilities of Muff only just down the road. Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed if you decide to stay at this lovely house & location.

Lovely house, beautiful area.

Comfortable and well equipped although some of the chairs and beds were a little bit tired. The vacuum cleaner head was broken, so we weren’t able to clean up very efficiently. But the kitchen was very well equipped and we had no problem cooking for a large group. A lovely place for a family get together.

We had a fantastic time at Millers Lane cottage.

It's our 3rd time to come & we really loved it. My children had a great time & everything about the house is of a very high standard. We will definitely be returning again.

stayed a week in June whether not great but plenty to do in location from alpaca walking to go-carting, Derry has plenty of shops, the local bars and the Guinness where good too good some nights, so plenty to do would go back anytime . house is lovely, two front rooms big kitchen all the cooking equipment you need plenty of cups plates. only complaint i would have is some of the mattresses need replacing, bit on the lumpy side , and the hot water i don't know if there's a booster should of asked but runs out after 4 / 5 showers

Millers Lane was so much more than we hoped for.

Perfect, fully equipped house for a large family of 13. The house was absolutely beautiful, spotless, and had everything and more that you could ask for. We wished we could have extended our stay. This properly was perfect for our adult family of 7.

The house is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The aga slow cooker was perfect for days we didn’t want to eat out but didn’t want to cook on our return. As for the views, well absolutely beautiful. We would all recommend this property.

If you have your own wheels and are looking for something different, with easy access to the north and south of Ireland, this is well worth considering. Very comfortable, easy to find and one of the best places I have stayed in for a large family group. Many thanks to our hosts for making us so welcome; I would definitely stay again.

Brilliant house.

So much space for the whole family, we had 8 adults and 4 children. Views from the main bedroom and living room are spectacular. The house had everything that we needed for a family get together. The super fast broadband was an added bonus. Thank you so much for a great stay.

A lovely house to stay in which was well supplied.

We were very happy. Only a couple of minor issues: we brought a dog and the local lanes are not really dog walking safe - no paths and fast cars. The other issue was the AGA is on all the time and therefore the property was really warm. Other than that,a lovely place I would highly recommend people visit.

The house is in an excellent location with beautiful views across the loch.

It was very spacious and accommodated our family of 9 adults and two toddlers very well, the toddlers loved the proximity of the cows and donkeys in the neighbouring field. Great facilities including a barbeque. Overall we had an outstanding family holiday.

Amazing property!

We had a super week - opportunity to relax around the house or go off exploring- such a lovely vibe in this property and everything you could wish for was there. Total bonus having five en-suite rooms! Would highly recommend the property.

By far the most beautiful and well-equipped house I have stayed in.

We rented the property for Christmas and found that the extra dishes and cookware I brought from home were not needed -- fully equipped kitchen to prepare and serve an enormous Christmas dinner to 11 people (American style fridge helps with storage!). Beds were comfortable, bathrooms clean, and the living space is set up for maximum socialising. We had three generations in the house and all were happy.

House was ideal to accommodate our extended family comfortably, at a very reasonable price.

Great, spacious house in the most beautiful donegal.

Unfortunatley the spin wasn't working on the washing machine and the bottom tray of the dishwasher wasn't functioning either. Bottom spinner not turning. Functioning washing machine and dishwasher is a very basic request on self catering.... House appeared clean on arrival, but more than once on moving furniture, especially chairs in the sitting room, rubbish from previous occupants still on the floor. ... clearly not hoovered/swept. We booked a higher standard of house than usual this year, we've been self catering in Ireland for years..... i've never been so dissapointed. As a stay at home home mom with 6 kids the last thing I wanted for my holidays was so many hours washing up due to a poor functioning dishwasher or to be picking up other peoples rubbish!!

The house was lovely and warm for such a big house which made our stay very comfortable.

We had a very enjoyable holiday in Millers Lane House.

As a party of nine (4 adults and 5 children) we had ample space to be together or to separate into smaller groups. The big Aga ensured it was always cosy. There are plenty of casual dining options just a short drive away and pleasant scenery all around.

Just home from an absolutely fantastic week away.

The house was amazing, spotless clean so well facilitated. Owners were lovely. Was so much to do nearby. The outdoor space was lovely for sitting out and for the kids to play and so safe. We had the best time and definitely booking for next year.

No heating, first night was absolutely freezing and there was kids in the house.

Then when we contacted the owner we were told that's the way it is.. it was meant to be on for 1 hour 3 times a day/night. No hot water. We then found out the back that there was a place to turn on the heating. It was scheduled to come on for 1 hour a day/night. Lovely house, just freezing.

Even before our guests arrived at the home booked, Caroline the owner was in touch with me to arrange pick-up of the keys and to explain the heating controls etc.

The home is just beautiful! It has everything a large booking of guests would ever need to enjoy a week in Donegal! Lovely touches like milk, teabags, biscuits all most welcome when people arrive. House facilities are second to none, we will be back for another visit. John (the owner) called in to introduce himself and make guests familiar with the heating controls and bins/recycling etc. Loads of towels and spare bed-linen in the house also. House was immaculate on arrival. Once again, we would recommend this home to everyone looking for a beautiful, clean home from home! Book it, you will not be disappointed :D Thank you to Caroline & John for such a great week in their wonderful home.

House and grounds were beautiful, clean and comfortable. The views from the open plan kitchen/lounge area and front bedroom are breathtaking. Plenty of bars and resturaunts close by. The locals are pleasant and very friendly. Will definatley be back soon. Looking forward to our next vist. Thank you Caroline and Jhon.

Miller's Lane House is wonderful.

The rooms are big and comfortable, the views to die for. I would say the beds were not terribly comfortable and seemed old, and the lights, where there were multiple bulbs in a fixture just had one measly bulb in each. In the bathroom, this was particularly a problem. On the whole, however, the house was great.

Just want to make owner aware that TV in main bedroom not working at all and several tv remotes do not have batteries and 3 sinks without plugs.

Also downstairs bedroom has a dodgy shower goes from cold to very hot with no in between! That said was very enjoyable with just a few minor things needing addressed.

Millers Lane House was fabulous and had everything you could possibly need for a holiday.

The scenery was fantastic and the location was also terrific. The owners John and Caroline were very helpful and we would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation. In fact we would love to return in the future as it was so close to many attractions and to Derry which is a beautiful City.

Miller's Lane is a gorgeous house perfectly located for people wanting to explore Derry city and the Inishowen Peninsula.

The views from the main living space overlooking the Foyle are spectacular. The house is well equipped and space is in abundance. We really enjoyed our stay and have come back very relaxed. We will definitely be back.

!! This is the second time I have booked this house for the week. Brilliant place to bring an extended family together for a holiday and give each family there own space. We stopped at the house for 3 Weeks in October/November and were visited by a number of family and friends who all thought the house was brilliant and the views over Loch Foyle were stunning. The owners, Caroline and John were great and available if we had any problems.

We had a great stay, and found everything we could want had been supplied.

We also enjoyed the spacious layout and the magnificent views of Lough Foyle

Fabulous house with breathtaking views! Great spot for touring Northern Ireland and an ideal venue for a large family group which included hosting a family reunion party for 27 people from 5 years old to 82! We will be back!

The setting and views are spectacular.

You can see all of Lough Foyle spread before you, from an elevated position on a slope. Huge windows, very spacious throughout. It is so peaceful, no sound apart from an occasional ‘moo’. Just 10 minutes from Derry, however.

We had the most amazing time beautiful house with amazing views!

Miller's house was spectacular.

I spent the week with my daughter and son in law and 2 young children. Caroline and John met us at the house, and were so helpful and kind. The house was everything we had hoped for and more, with stunning views from both the family room, and the main bedroom upstairs. My downstairs wet room was ideal, and the small sitting room was an extra little space for my sewing!! The week was spent sight seeing, in coffee shops, and at home with the kids. We couldn't have asked for more in our stay, and have booked again for the same time next year.

Today we came home from this stunning home.

. The peace tranquillity and the forever changing surroundings the minute you walk in the front door you feel the love and calmness... Thank you John and Caroline for the welcome the heat and most of all allowing us to live like a king and queen in surroundings that only a few can dream off makes this a hard home to leave. It has fulfilled a dream of having my kids all-around me again i look through my pictures and i have a tear in my eye knowing i will miss this stunning beautiful home and all that it has to offer... I find it hard to put in words just how beautiful this home and surroundings are other than please go experience it for i know i will be back to live the dream. X

This house is a spectacular home from home, the photos don’t do it justice with how lovely it is.

Fantastic views over Lough Foyle, mountains in the distance and the ever changing views of the weather make this property unqiue. Caroline and John were so helpful and kind and added to the pleasure of staying at the great house. It’s a prefect location to explore County Antrim and Donegal as well as the beautiful city of Derry. We visited Giants Causeway and Malin Head all within easy reach of an hour. Great restaurants on the door step and friendly bars with the perfect pint of Guinness to make this trip to Ireland so worthwhile. I will definitely be bringing my family back to this beautiful house.

Had a fantastic time in Millers Lane House we were met by one of the owners that gave us tips around the area which was very helpful.

The view was absolutely breath taking looking out over the water. Having 7 of us in the home it wasn't crowded and having individual en-suites was a bonus. There are a lot of interesting places to visit. We had a little issue the day after arriving but this was dealt with efficiently and quickly and did not hinder our stay. The owners were easy to contact. Will love to return in the future. Anyone booking this house is in for a lovely time.

House was amazing.

Plenty of room for 10 of us plus 2 dogs. View was beautiful over lough foyle. Plenty of nice walks within a short drive away. Cookin on the aga was fun and the wifi was an extra bonus. Will def be back.
